November 13, 2003 -- The Shield Guide has been updated to include the new shields from Aesry as well as the Paladin Shop shields from Ratha and Crossings.

The Armor Guide Downloads

• shields.xls: The new Shield guide.
• armorlist1.2.zip: A ZIPped file containing armorlist1.2.xls, a Microsoft Excel document featuring a list of armor found in the Dragon's Realms by armor type, protection appraisals, weight, and more.
• armorlist1.2.xls: The Microsoft Excel document containing the Armor Guide. Right-click on this link (Windows) or Ctrl-click (Mac) and choose Save As ... to save it directly to your local hard drive if you do not have an unZipping program. Clicking on the link directly will open the file in your browser if you have the Excel Viewer.
• armorlist-htm-1.2.zip: A ZIPped file containing an XML version of the guide that will load into your local browser. This is the only option for Macintosh users who do not have Microsoft Excel installed.
• armorlist1.2.htm: If you don't want to download the Armor Guide to your local system, you can view it online in your browser (Windows or Macintosh, requires an XML compatible browser).

• Microsoft Excel Viewer: A free viewer from Microsoft that lets Windows users who do not own Microsoft Excel view Excel documents with a great degree of functionality. It does not allow you to save changes, however.
• WinZip Extractor: The classic unZipping program, to extract files from .zip archives.
