Before i post some more norse gods though here are a few of my less godly creations.

First up is Analysis. As a child she was a computer genius, she built her first computer aged six and managed to bypass international firewall when she was a teen, though she did this for fun and never stole any classified data. As a adult she started a computer company at the forefront of the market. She was involved in a project to link the human mind to computer and volunteered as a test subject. Out of 50 subject she was the only success. She could use her mind to link up to computer networks, control linked devices and could search the internet without even using a computer. She later developed the ability to project holograms. After releasing the potential power of what she had created she shut down the project and deleted all data on it. Her company soon after went bust as investor pulled out after the elimination her most revolutionary project. She later joined the legendary legion and is a valuable member of the team though she rarely gets involved in field work.

Next is surge a villain with the power to turn his body into pure energy, in this form he can teleport short distances and is extremely powerful. Though he has to charge up his powers and this process can be interrupted leaving him vulnerable. It is unknown how he received is powers as is his real identity. He recently joined up with other villains to form the evil organisation the black syndicate.

And finally is Shadestalker. This hero is a mystery, nobody know his real identity and though working with both the night watch and the legendary legion he has no long term commitments to either team. Shadestalker is at the peak of human fitness, His cape allows him to glide long distance and his gloves have claw that can also generate electric pulses. It is unknown if he has any true super power but he is very stealth and often appears from the shadow without warning. His secretive nature has brought him into conflict with several heroes.

Recently i have taken a particular interest in Norse mythology. So i decided that my universe would meet the Norse gods.

When the overseer attacked earth the guardian was attempting to open a portal for reinforcements from a pocket dimension of his creation called Custodius. But after he was interrupted when opening the portal he instead opened up a portal to the realm of the Norse gods, several of the gods managed to get through and upon seeing the battle and be convinced to help, they  fought alongside the heroes of earth. After this a treaty was made between the two realm and a permanent portal was made at the legendary legion base so they could help each other if needed. Though the gods haven’t always seen eye to eye with mankind, they generally fight for the greater good and the god Baldur has even become a permanent resident of earth joining the legendary legion as a full member.

Who better to start with than Odin, so here he is with his spear Gungnir.

Odin being a god and all possesses incredible strength and is virtually immortal.  He also carries many enchanted artifacts with various enchantments.

Well as previously Ariceel; one of the most powerful and unpredictable characters in my universe, is the son of the overseer and an alien queen. Well here she is Ellerenta, queen of the serakian empire.

On her home planet she grew up daughter of an engineer who worked for the military, having spent a lot of her childhood around soliders she developed an interest in the art of war. She decided to receive training from a good friend of her fathers and became very proficient in fighting. As she grew older she displayed disgust in the state of the serakian society, so she took matters into her own hands. She secretly started a rebelion drawing the king men away, so less security was available when he was appearing public to give a speech . During the speech she leaped on staged and beheaded him in front of the crowd, declaring herself queen. Unsuprisingly nobody was willing to stand in her way.

Later as a new threat reached her empire she allied with the Overseer and they eventually got married. But he grew fed up of her and left her when see was pregnant with his son, and breaking the alliance between the powers. It is well known that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, especially a warring alien queen. She reserves a deep hatred for the overseer and helped fight the overseer alongside the heroes of earth, later leading to a treaty with mankind.  She is currently out with her royal force searching for her son after hearing reports of him being alive.

Next up is torrent.

Torrent received his powers when he was researching renewable energy. He was experimenting a mysterious energy emitting crystal when the machine exploded, bombarding him with a strange kind of radiation. He later discovered he had developed the ability to project beam of energy out of the palms of his hands. As he began to understand his power more he became able to project different kinds of energy, such as concussive blasts. He worked alone for a time using his powers to fight crime but then later joined the legendary legion.

Also i updated Captain Inferno’s costume a bit.

Going Retro!

Here are two heroes from a sixties superhero team called the sentinels of liberty.

The sentinel of liberty where one of the first public superhero teams and first brought general acceptance to costumed heroes protecting the general populous. Here they are Lord Liberty; the team leader who posses the powers of flight and energy projection, and miss Olympus; who has the power of super strength.

Next up from the night watch is Springheeled Jack.

Jack was once a bad criminal, he would often mug people in the street and was an expert thief. But when his accomplice and lover the Scarlet Blade was kidnapped by a gang he mistakenly tried steal from he, in desperation, called on the night watch for help. They where reluctant knowing who that he was a criminal, in the end he made a deal that he would join them if they helped him out which they eventually accepted. After this he became a core member of the group and his skill are incredible handy for the team. He can move silently, is incredibly agile, has extraordinary eyesight, can wall run, climb expertly and jump incredible height. He is also very skilled with his pair of daggers. He is currently engaged too Mirage a former member  of the legendary legion now a member of the night watch along with her good friend brawler who is secretly jealous of their relationship.

Next up from the nigh watch is grenadier.

At first glance he may look rather normal and unintelligent, a lot of the time he acts like it too. But he is in fact a genius. He has an unmatched understanding of maths and physics which allow him to calculate the exact right angle of projection to hit a target. This means he virtually never misses and can throw a grenade extremely far and still get a hit on target. A long with his intelligence he also has an incredibly strong throwing arm allowing to throw a grenade over hundreds of meters and he is also a talented bomb maker. He works as a university professor of physics and maths and also regularly puts his throwing arm in to use playing a variety of sports such as cricket and baseball. He is a founding member of the night watch and is in the most part responsible for its creation. When walking home from a late night marking essays at work he came across the blank detective fighting a gang, as he was about to be stabbed the professor throw a stone which caught the gangster and knocked him out saving the blank detective from injury. After originally joining him as a a duo he suggested that they form a team to truly stop crime on the streets of the city, the blank detective agreed and even suggested he be leader but he rejected this offer knowing the blank detective would be a better leader.

Here is my most recent creation Acolyte.

Acolyte has a variety of powers including flight, light energy protection, healing and teleportation, but his power vary depending on exposure to the sun, so at midday his power are virtually limitless but at night they are a lot weaker, this thought to be because his super-human cell generate his power through a process similar to photosynthesis. His received his powers during his day job as a geologist, he was underground examining crystal formations, when he came across a strange glowing crystal. As he touched it energy surged through his body and he was sent flying 10 meters through the air. He woke up 2 weeks later, in hospital, having been in a coma. A few later he discovered hi power, when his wife was killed by an armed criminal, in his rage his body erupted with light and the criminal was incinerated. He went into hiding, but after the incident the legendary legion where looking for him thinking he was a villain. But when they discovered his true nature they offered him a place on the team which he accepted.

Jessica Porter was not the best at fitting in. It might wasn’t that she was anti-social or anything. Its more that she was intimidating to most her classmates, not on purpose though. But it didn’t that on the first day of secondary school, she beat-up the captain of the rugby team, leaving him with a broken nose and 2 fractured ribs. Most of her classmates where scared of girl who could take on the biggest kid in school. She was incredibly strong for a girl of  her age and had a natural infinity for fighting. Though it mostly went unnoticed till the age of sixteen, when during a bank robbery she took out 3 armed criminals, one by throwing a fire axe at him and the other in hand to hand combat. Her talent was noticed by the wrong people and she became part of a gang, who happened to be in league with a criminal telepath who was on the legendary legion’s radar. When they the team fought with the gang most of them got them sent to jail, but ape took pity on Jessica and noticing her skill he decided to train her to be a hero. She took the title the sapphire slicer, but her violent nature got the better of her and she was kicked out of team. But she found another team she fitted better with, the night watch. She utilities two axes made of a light-weight yet strong metal.

Ok first up from the night watch is the Blank detective.

Victor Hendricks was a cop working in one of the most crime ridden districts of the city. He was one of the most successful cop in the city. But he had a tendency to violence, he often was in trouble for being to harsh on criminals. But when he accidentally killed an unarmed robber, few believed it was an accident and he was discharged from the force. Soon after he got a job in a dinner which was robbed just a month later. He wouldn’t stand bye so he donned a trench coat and mask and took care of the criminal himself. After the first time he could resist going out again and before long he was a full flung vigilante. After uncovering a crime syndicate with a highly pyrokentic at its heart he formed the night watch to take him down. Ever since then the night watch has been bringing justice to the dark streets.
