Shortly after joining Hero Machine, I made a character I called Iron Maiden, which was basically a female Ironman. For copyright reasons, she was removed. Recently in my HEROS, ALL thread I redid one of my characters in a Golden Age style and mentioned I didn’t find any Black Golden Age heros. While looking at some public domain characters for inspiration I came across a few Black characters. I’ll be doing some re-interpretations of them now and then. I’ll be posting them here to keep them separate from my HEROS, ALL universe. Here’s another look at Dark Cherub. Eventually I’m going to have to come up with a story for her if I keep including her with my heros. All I can say is she was originally a fighter I made in Soul Calibur 4. Oddly enough, that version was white and an evil twin. PS3 burnt out on me and I never backed anything up, so unfortunately, no image of the original Dark Cherub.
The crossover story was GREAT! I had to go back and look at Firebird when you mentioned the tooth; nice touch! Love what you did with Amy Atom, too! Totally different from how I originally imagined her, but it still works! You used the 2.5 pic and still gave a tip of the hat to the HM3 version. I’m still cranking out images but my story telling seems to have dried up for a while now. You keep this up, we’ve plenty to keep you busy! Try this.
Arclight is becoming my favorite character to work on. I haven’t come up with a back story for her yet, but here’s a rundown of her powers and abilities. Powers are energy manipulation based. She emits micro-waves, firing blasts from her hands, as well as optic blasts. She is invulnerable and approximately of Level 10 super strength, (able to lift 10 tons). Capable of supersonic flight with the ability to reach escape velocity and survive unaided in space. Arclight can also adjust her vision to see through the entire spectrum of visible and invisible light, including the ultra and infra extremes.
Sorry Weilyn, no link. It was already installed in my Macbook when it was given to me. Google Comic Life. It is made for plotting out comics, among other uses. I made a CD cover with it.

My first shot at a Golden Age hero. I re-imagined my character, Star Spangled Sister in that style. Those who have viewed my threads know that I mostly do Black female characters. Couldn’t find any Golden Age Black characters, male or female. Reflection of the times. BTW, prswirve made the observation that I seem to have a thing for Black women and stars. I guess he’s right, lol!
Great work from everybody! I just saw this contest for the time yesterday and browsed the thread. Here’s my take on Golden Guardian, and though that contest is long over, (I wasn’t even on Hero Machine at the time), I would like to show you my take on your Lady Liberty. One character is my Star Spangled Sister recolored and the next is my Liberty, also recolored for your character. Hope you like!
