WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks, Stulte.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantTried as a JPEG, got the same error message and nothing posted. I was able to put it on HM’s Facebook page, though.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks, Jeimuzu. Honestly don’t know what inspired that, but I built on ideas from the teachings i remember as a child.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantHaving trouble posting a pic. Every time I try, I get this error message: HTTP Error.
Upload URL might be wrong or doesn’t exist. What is going on? The pic comes in at 2.3mb. Is it just too large a file?
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThat is a cool scene! Sadist looks creepy as hell! Nice work! i can relate to how you feel tough; I’ve lost a few stories and pictures I worked on when my laptop crashed before saving. Don’t stay discouraged, keep on creating!
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantVery cool concept, Herr D. We seriously need a like button!
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks, guys. It’s actually good I’m taking a break from superheroes for a bit and stretch my imagination in other directions. Here’s my latest, the Dying Thief. One of 3 thieves said to be crucified along with Jesus Christ, this nameless thief accepted the saviour with his dying breath. In my universe, he was granted immortality, but still bears the scars of his beating as well as the wounds of his crucifixion. He has wandered the Earth for the past 2 millenium searching for souls like himself who were bad men, but still worthy of redemption. He has taken on the name of Stigmata, as the living embodiment of the crucifixion wounds. It is said he has been given limited power to pass on the same redemption he received with the touch of his hands, to those truly repentant souls. Please don’t read too much into this character, because I’m actually not very religious, but consider myself more spiritual.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantGood to see you’re back. Like Jeimuzu, can’t wait to see King of Light finished. Hope all is well!
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks Hrr D. Not something or someone I would want to meet! Meanwhile, we all need a bit of wonder in our lives.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThe Challenger is an inter-galactic traveller who seeks out various world’s mightiest warriors for the purpose of competing in battle. He does not seek to kill or conquer; he only wishes to engage in friendly competition for the sake of bragging rights. He claims to have been worshiped as a god on various worlds throughout his millenia long lifetime, and that he was known on Earth to the ancient Greeks and Romans as Ares and Mars, respectively, but chose to give up the warmongering persona when those pantheons were no longer worshipped. His place of origin is unknown and he is currently unknown on Earth, except only to Black Hole of the Cosmic Protectorate. He and she seem to have some kind of past knowledge of each other, though she has never mentioned him to her team mates and Challenger has not been on Earth since the last days of the Roman Empire.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantThanks, Stulte. I’m really satisfied with how the beard I made came out, but as I look at the overall I see where I could have done more to age the face. Haven’t done much in the way of enemies, so here is one for the Cosmic Protectorate. Coming from a planet on the other side of the Milky Way, unknown to Earth, the Ga’ atbq (pronounced ga-Ott-back), are a carnivorous, amphibian race. Highly territorial and primitive in their societal culture, they are surprisingly very technologically advanced. Due to over-population and depletion of resources, they travel the galaxy seeking out planets with water to colonize. In Earth, they feel they have found the perfect new home and food source, (the human race). Thanks to her level of Cosmic Consciousness being the most advanced and furthest reaching of the Protectorate, Blackhole was well aware of the approaching invasion forces long before her team mates. The sheer numbers of the Ga’ atbq make them a fearsome race to all they have encountered.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantA portrait of Chinese philosopher, Lao Tzu. Model in the spoiler.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantKing Red is AMAZING! I thought that was something by AMS at first.
WMDBASSPLAYERParticipantGetting away from superheroes for a while. I always did like Japanese art. These are inspired by a picture I saw on the web. Samurai Sunrise. FULL DISCLOSURE: The first picture is 100% Hero Machine, the second is HM art with Comic Life page layout for the scroll effect and the third is Comic Life page layout and filter.
EDIT: Image this is based on in spoiler.
