Thanks, PPRS. Coming from you that’s a big boost. I’ve missed your work; as you may or may not have seen there are a couple of newcomers who have really been doing some great poses like yours. Also, some of these are “cheaters” in that after I finish the HM stuff, I use myPhotoEdit for filtering and over effects. It’s all trial and error, as none of the effects are described, so I just try it and delete if I don’t like it. I’ve also found that the filtering adds so many kb’s of data that the finished product is sometimes to large a file for HM to handle.

Hahaha! So much for the “purely cosmetic” wings! You took this character in such a far out direction from my original concept. I saw a fire manipulating mutant who constantly changed appearance as she matured and gained more control of her power. Your “flame sprite” idea is wonderful! If you want to do more with her, feel free! BTW, I’ll give Paint.net a look. I’ve been using myPhotoEdit wnd it’s OK for my purposes so far in that I really don’t know what I’m doing! But it’s a fun process.

Thanks, Atomic. I’m looking forward to more of your stories, whether it’s my character or not! With Amy and Adam, I’m building up to something pretty epic, but I gotta find the right poses. So far I’ve kept Adam pretty standard and Amy’s poses were done from my head. I need to find some pics that fit my ideas to copy from.

I’m taking my time with this story; I really want to plot it out, because in the past I would write stuff off the top of my head then go back over it to correct my spelling and grammar and take out or fix whatever didn’t make sense. I’m getting into this character and don’t want any holes in the plot.

Thanks. That was the first aura I tried and I like the way it fits his shape. I just shortened it a little to match his size.

Atomic Adam, aka H-Bomb. Second pic is a filtered version. It’s so small because the filtering adds so many kb’s of data the finished product is too big for HM and when I resize them, they come out more like large thumbprints.

I love your team shots! Both teams are really far out, but The Mysterious Outsiders! WOW! Have you ever considered submitting some of those designs to a manga publisher? Or a Japanese action series? They definitely look Power Rangers worthy! I can see UltraMan going against any one of them!

Chase Black is wicked cool! I like the second version with the flowing coat, but the I prefer the first head better. Gives more of an ominous vibe like, “Whoa, is that him or a mask?” Whereas the second, you know it’s a mask. Your Guardian Angles are epic!
