Here are the Reinhardt twins. Johan and Anna are both students at the Institute. The Reinhardt family has been fighting crime for generations.

Their great-grandfather, Erik Reinhardt was originally born Erik Jaeger. The Jaeger family was a long line of assassins and mercenaries whose mystic blood made them adept at these professions. They were naturally athletic and intuitively knew how to fight. They usually did not take sides  and fought for whomever paid the most, but when they were contracted by the Nazis, Erik broke off. He saw the atrocities committed and knew they were evil. He could not work for them and so he joined the resistance, where his fast and powerful strikes earned him the nickname of Der Blitz. His brother Karl fought for the Nazis as a hunter of resistance fighters, pitting the two against each other.

The two met in a final showdown when the resistance attempted to stop the Nazis from obtaining mystical relics. This is where Erik found the mystical sword which could control lightning. Using the sword, Karl was killed and Erik soon became a powered hero using his nickname of Blitz. After the war ended, he changed his name to Reinhardt to get a clean slate. He also attempted and failed to find Karl’s young son to end the Jaeger legacy for good as he and Karl were the last remaining Jaegers. He failed in the latter and the son, Wolfgang, would become a new Jaeger for the Stasi and KGB, with his lineage continuing the Jaeger legacy.

Erik would fight crime in West Germany as Blitz. He married a fellow resistance fighter and had a son, to whom he passed the sword and the mantle of Blitz. The son, the twin’s grandfather, would marry an American and move with her to the US, where he continued to fight crime. His son would also become a Blitz before he passed it on to his daughter, Anna.

Anna fights crime as Blitz and possesses a magical sword which can throw lightning. She is the younger of the two siblings and is the more impulsive of the two. She has a tendency to rush into battle, which annoys her brother to no end. She can hold her own though, as she has mastered her weapon and is quick like her namesake.

Johan fights crime as Donner and can control electromagnetic fields to make superpowerful punches, “thunderclaps” or kinetic force blasts, and forcefields. Johan is the older sibling and is overprotective of his sister. He is usually levelheaded and cautious, unless someone hurts his sister, in which case, he strikes fast and hard. His punches are some of the hardest of those at the school.

Together, the Reinhardt twins fight crime as Donner and Blitz, Thunder and Lightning. With her quick strikes and his strong hits, they are a force to be reckoned with. Both their crimefighting names and last names has caused the pair to be collectively known at the school as the Reindeer Twins.

I’m alive! I have survived another semester and as usual, break means actual heromachining will be done. School just preoccupied my time and I didn’t create, though I did lurk now and again.

Here is another take, though realistically, he generally ends up about the same, on Timothy Addeus. Timothy is a student at the Institute, the school which trains young superheroes, who has the ability to summon forth a mystical sword from his body. He is a great swordsman and can fire magical blasts from the blade.

Here is Shrapnel, a member of Electric’s gang who can absorb metal and then expel it at high speeds in shards. He works as one of the gangs enforcers as his abilities make him both bulletproof and a living firearm.

Thank you for the kind words. Here is Adam Callahan, formerly Psych and now Psyche.

As Psych, the telepathic hero was the team clown on the Cadets, his constant jokes lightening the mood of the team in tough situations. He was accompanied in his joviality by his best friend Snowball. When fighting the supervillain that phased Paige out of existence, Snowball perished. The villain’s reactor had overheated and Snowball threw himself on it to cool it down and avoid a catastrophic explosion. Adam stayed with his friend telepathically as he died, comforting him as his body melted and his consciousness drifted away. Feeling his friend’s life slip away resulted in Adam sinking into a depression. The cadets split apart and for a couple months Adam retired from heroics. When he returned, he had changed. He was now filled with anger and he vented his frustrations on criminals. After his mental powers almost left a petty thief catatonic, the government stepped in and offered him a position with SPARO, the superhuman special forces group. He took it figuring that it would give him purpose and allow him to use his rage in a helpful way.

With SPARO, his mental powers grew exponentially. His original mind reading and slight ability to push thoughts grew into the ability to read several minds at once over a vast difference, the ability to control others, the ability to alter perceptions of others to see what he wants them to see, and the ability to read the depths of people’s minds. With these skills, he was a good SPARO operative. He helped take down superhuman despots and terrorists. However, SPARO’s morally questionable tactics alongside their use of deadly force soon got to Adam. He had killed people and using his powers, he had destroyed minds and trapped others in hells of their own making. He had used his powers to push enemies to kill their comrades. He was worried that he had become a monster. This caused him to leave after his four year term was up and he returned to superheroics.

He returned darker and more somber. His prior humor had became pitch black and his optimism turned to cynicism. He was also tired of keeping secrets and he came out after he came back. His old friends all supported him as he did so and he felt better about having one less secret. His new demeanor led him to adopt a new name of Psyche, as he felt Psych was too happy.

While on patrol one night, he ran into his old enemy Titan. Adam was tired and did not want to fight him as he knew it would be difficult for both parties as both had grown stronger in the five years since they had last met. He also recognized something in Titan’s eyes. A feeling that he also didn’t want to fight, that he was tired of this. He saw that Titan had also changed, that he had experienced hell and had become a monster. This kindred feeling caused Adam to ask Titan just to talk. He figured he needed a chance to vent as Adam also needed. So the two went to a seedy cape bar patronized by villains and antiheroes. The two talked and became friends and drinking buddies. Adam helped Tony recover from his depression and convinced him to stop being a supervillain and instead help others. Titan decided to become a big gun, a hero only called when the threat needs someone really powerful to stop it.

Eventually, the friends realized that their friendship had evolved into more romantic feelings. This led to one of the stranger superpowered couples. A hero and a former villain. This relationship took some time for others to get used to, but when the former Cadets saw how Tony brought back some of Adam’s joker side, they accepted it. Anthony’s supervillain parents have also reluctantly accepted it and their son’s refusal to be a villain as their son seems to be happy.

Thank you both for the kind words.

Here is Anthony “Tony” Markos, the former supervillain known as Titan. He is the son of the supervillains Atlas and Selene and has inherited a mix of their powers. From his father, he has minor superstrength and from his mother, he has extreme telekinetic powers. These combine into a form of tactile telekinesis. He uses this to emulate pure superstrength, manipulate his hammer, and to fly. As Titan, he led a team of young supervillains who were the Cadet’s main rivals.

A couple of months before the Cadets disbanded, he was abducted to be part of Hesperus’s alien gladiatorial combat. As a fledgling supervillain, he had never killed anyone, always trying to avoid it as he saw it as unnecessary. In Hesperus’s coliseum, he was forced to kill hundreds of other gladiators. His powers had grown exponentially, with his body now covered in a near invulnerable shield and his “strength” being one of the strongest on the planet. He only got back to Earth because he accomplished the rare feat of winning 100 matches.

This experience left him broken. He had been gone for three years and he had changed in that time. He needed time to sort himself out, so he traveled around Earth for another year before finally coming home. His parents and ex-girlfriend/teammate Pirouette tried to get him back into villainy, but his heart wasn’t in it. He wandered around aimlessly, occasionally picking fights with giant monsters or other supervillains.

One day, he ran into his former enemy, Psyche and almost came to a brawl with him. Thankfully for both of them, Psyche saw the pain Titan was in and recognizing a kindred spirit, offered him a chance to talk and not fight. Both men had seen hell and needed someone to talk to. Psyche had worked for SPARO, the superpowered black ops group and had done some monstrous things. This led to one of the stranger friendships in the cape community. Psyche has helped Titan recover and Titan has stopped his wanderings, now working as a big gun in the case of a colossal threat.

Jordan Bell has a superhuman intellect, especially when it comes to mechanics. He was once part of the Cadets as Gadget. He used a jetpack and a special visor which can see several spectra in his heroics.

When snowball died, Jordan retired from heroics and focused on his studies. He now has doctorates in several fields and works for BSH. He helps develop all of the gadgets that help the organization and its heroes catch supervillains.

Paige Matthews can become intangible at will. She was part of the cadets as Phase and was the second in command of the team. She was also dating the leader, Kyle Madison.

On the mission where Snowball died, the mad scientist they were fighting hit her with a ray gun. This gun was meant specifically for her and it caused her to phase out of our reality and into a hellscape. The other realm was composed of blood red skies and islands of floating rocks. Monsters inhabited it and Paige had to fight to survive. Time also moves differently there in comparison to our own. By the time she eventually phased back into the real world, a minute had passed among her comrades, but to her, it had been a year. She disappeared in a flash and reappeared, her clothes torn and her once long, blond hair a short jagged white. She had trimmed it with a monster’s claw as long hair was a vulnerability she could not afford in her year of hell. She also came back damaged, afraid of danger at every corner, ready to pounce at a moments notice. This experience, alongside the loss of their friend, caused her to retire from heroics for a while. Her once bright personality had soured into seriousness and roughness.

Kyle remained with her and helped her readapt to a life not in perpetual danger. Years passed and he became Paragon. The two married and she was happy. With her happiness, came a desire to help her husband as a heroine again. She became Spectra, a new name for a changed woman.

Here is the former leader of the cadets, Paragon. Kyle Madison is superstrong, can fly, and is mostly invulnerable. He is the unflappable type, taking most everything in stride and adapting quickly to new situations. The only thing he reacts to poorly is confined spaces as a childhood experience of being locked in a chest for a day has left him severely claustrophobic. Through the help of his now wife, Paige, he has mostly overcome this fear.

He was the only one of the cadets to stay a superhero immediately after their friend snowball’s death. Paige was too traumatized from her year in a hell dimension to continue fighting crime. Kyle understood and helped her recover in his down time. Formerly Kid Paragon, Kyle now fights crime as Paragon, a symbol for justice. His experience as the leader of the cadets has made the young hero into a leader figure in the hero community, with young heroes looking to him for guidance.

Here is the Cadets, a former superhero team made up of young heroes. They are made up of the flying/superstrong/invulnerable leader Kid Paragon, the intangible Phase, the prankster telepath Psych, fellow jokester snow golem Snowball, and the no nonsense supergenius Gadget.

The team broke apart five years ago when during the fight with a mad scientist, Snowball perished. This event caused the team to go their separate ways. Psych would become darker and join SPARO for a time as Psyche. Kid Paragon would become Paragon and continue being a superhero. His girlfriend, Phase was mentally scarred by the fight and would retire for a couple years before returning as Spectra. Gadget would retire from superheroics and become a tinkerer for the BSH.
