TrekkieParticipantThanks!
TrekkieParticipantI think you could try just shading them in a normal way first- dark gradients in shadowed areas, and lighter ones as highlights. Then, use small white gradient circles on each of the knuckles. Not sure how useful that is, but it’s an idea- hope it helps.
TrekkieParticipantThank you Harlequin- glad you like it!
TrekkieParticipantThanks both of you!
@Hudson: I am indeed, yes. It’s also my nickname at my Explorer Scouts group (for obvious reasons
). And by your signature I assume you’re one too? Also awesome
.
TrekkieParticipantI’m glad it has!
TrekkieParticipantThanks FRM and Myro!
TrekkieParticipantHow did you do the white design on Quantum’s chest? It looks really good, and the mask without eyeholes (after all, why would he need them?) is a neat touch.
TrekkieParticipantThanks!
TrekkieParticipantA new creation, and I didn’t spend two weeks trying to come up with an idea!
It’s not really in season, all things considered, Pantomime being a Christmassy thing. But I didn’t fancy waiting until December to showcase it, so here’s a pantomime horse!
Making this thing was harder than I thought it would be. There was a lot more resizing, rotating and masking to make that panto horse shape than I thought there would be.
TrekkieParticipantGreat atmosphere on Bronsky! The shading works really well.
TrekkieParticipantIt’s taken ages, but I’ve put up a bio for the sci-fi armour picture if anyone wants to read it. It’s nothing spectacular, but hey, at least it’s there.
TrekkieParticipantCongrats on the job!
TrekkieParticipantNice story for Prometheus, and the little flame-shaped pin on his lapel is a neat touch.
TrekkieParticipantNice costume design on Dash. I like the different colours in her hair, too.
TrekkieParticipantNeat design. I especially like how the middle stripe on her top blends into the cloth at her waist, and the silver and purple colour scheme looks good.
