The Atomic PunkParticipantPrincess Erzsé and her pet Rebecka. The Princess is heiress to the Crown of the Three Sisters. The Three Sisters are the planets Isis, Rhea, and Anu in the isolationist Hestia system. Rebecka is a nuppa, the native people of Isis. The Sisterhood had enslaved the nuppa generations ago.
Both the Sisterhood and the nuppa are a “selected species.” They are clones or conceived artificially. All Sisters and nuppa are female.
The Atomic PunkParticipantFinal entry and a personal favorite, a take on the guardian angel and devil.
Ethical Dilemma: Let your combat engagement program determine the appropriate action
The Atomic PunkParticipantAgain, this contest is about designing a face. Since I am not great at designing faces, I used this as an exercise in directly editing the text files. This is when I also discovered that the first Head that you place becomes the design’s “anchor.” Keep that in mind when you are creating off-center or wide designs. It does affect how your picture exports. Simply use multiple Heads. Set the first Head to Layer 1 behind your Background or as Aura 0 to make it transparent / invisible.
Anyway, the elk drawn on the cave wall is actually the Hand Drum found in Items. The maximum re-size in HeroMachine is 999. I went directly into the text file to set the size around 3000, if I remember correctly. I like the result.

The Atomic PunkParticipantFantastic! The heroine’s expression is the focal point. The costumes are great. The background is solid. Amazing light and shading.
I think you’ll probably kill me for saying this. However, maybe move one of the men’s left legs slightly higher or lower. The way it looks now, they are in lockstep. Or, have one of the men looking at her? As it is, they look very stiff. A subtle shift of the eyes, head, or a leg would go a long away.
The Atomic PunkParticipantThe bad guy is cock-eyed. He is supposed to be staring off to his left – watching the SWAT team off-camera. Instead, his left eye seems to loosely stare at the victim.

The Atomic PunkParticipantSkrying
The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, Weilyn. Definitely check it out.
This character was inspired by a certain 1990’s TV show starring two FBI agents who would investigate paranormal activity. (Hint: Gillian Anderson is still hot!)
The mysterious Tobacco Man
The Atomic PunkParticipantSomething like this?
The Atomic PunkParticipantTip of the gas mask to Nicole Chilelli for winning SyFy’s Season 3 of “Face Off.” Her “alien cyborg” in the lead up to the finale blew me away. I was skeptical about the show when I picked it up midway through Season 2. What hooked me is that the competition reflects a lot of the happenings on HeroMachine. Amateurs, hopefuls, hobbyists, and professionals coming together to create, share, challenge, and learn.
This one came out a visually dark; nonetheless, I think the subject is understood and effective.
TKO (Technical Knockout)
The Atomic PunkParticipantHappy Halloween, everyone! In celebration, here is a CC 69 design inspired by haunted houses and amusement park attractions.
House of Horrors: So scary, you will drop your candy-coated puppy!
The Atomic PunkParticipantNice introduction. You established the major players with enough details to pique interest.
The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, Scatman. Hope you and yours are safe and dry!
I am a fan of this particular style of music. A tribute to Bob Seger and motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere.
Ramblin’ Man
The Atomic PunkParticipantThe challenge was to design an interesting face. I’m not good at faces. So, I created a bunch of close-ups.
As you can tell by the character’s name, I am not a fan of that particular style of “music.”
