The Atomic PunkParticipantHit
The Atomic PunkParticipantSeems I’m caught up on requests. I have a couple of things in the works while I am waiting on permissions. So, I’m available for more adventures if you have a character or design.
Again, thanks to everyone who has loaned their characters to me and to readers everywhere. It’s fun to interact and share with the HeroMachine community.
The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, Anarchangel. It was a quick, fun design.
Friday Night Fights: Fantasy Character Round
I survived the Play-in round but was stuck for an idea for a fantasy character. So, I turned to the reliable Seventh Sanctum! This playful guy was the result.

The Atomic PunkParticipantNice use of the Male-Alternate leg as the Imp’s torso. Very clever! I think that he’s missing a wing. I like how you used a Glove item to accent his wing, though.
The Atomic PunkParticipantYeah… a guy wearing a bug with moving legs on his face is very unnerving. Cool character. I really like the armbands (really big on accessories right now).
The Atomic PunkParticipantRe-arranging (MudVayne!)
The Atomic PunkParticipantAmazing, except… I believe her hands are backward? Thumbs should be facing toward her.
The Atomic PunkParticipantLovely!
The Atomic PunkParticipant“Wow” fantastic.
The Atomic PunkParticipantWow.
The Atomic PunkParticipantThe Bamoori is awesome! I like the background story and great use of the items.
The Atomic PunkParticipantThanks, Lightningsword.
Okay, so I have seemed to lost where I was at in my retrospect. Hopefully, I don’t repeat anything that I have already posted.
Return Of Friday Night Fights!
I am a huge fan of Friday Night Fights, though I never make it past Round Two. FNF is a showcase of what you can create with HeroMachine. This FNF was centered around character archetypes. For Round 1, we designed a “Play-In” Character. That is, whatever you wanted then go head-to-head. The winner advanced to the next round.
For my Play-In, I used one of my favorite designs knowing full well that my other characters were weaker. At the very least, my Play-In would get “face-time.” Here she is:
Pilotin
Background
“Pilotin” is the German word for “female pilot.” This is a depiction of a member of the military caste from my Three Sisters saga. The story has been off-and-on, re-written, scrapped, re-written again, etc. for a long time. A personal nitpick with this character: German is the language of the military caste. The read-outs on her display are written in Hungarian, which is the common language in my saga.
The Atomic PunkParticipant@JR19759: I believe that self-actualization is a large part of wisdom. The Sisters will show a path. It is the fault of the listener if he or she does not travel it. Depending on the order one asks, the Sisters will offer advice. Sort of a personality test. We can play with that aspect some more.
In this story, the seeker wants a direct answer. A’Ilia tests his order of selection. First, he (or she) turns to emotion for a quick fix. Failing that, he asks for the strength to endure. Finally, a sympathetic J’Alai offers him long-term advice. Not satisfied and impatient, he begs. A’Ilia does not reward laziness.
@WMDBASSPLAYER: I saw that. Very fun interpretation of the events.
@DC-Lover: Yes, The Greenpoint Guardians is a continuing story. For my part, it’s been a great exercise in foreshadowing.
The Atomic PunkParticipantBoth Lady Yankee and The Standard are really good. Though, I have to say Lady Yankee’s outfit might have been considered improper in the World War II era. Her transition to The Standard is flawless. The hair style, the outfit, and the name change demonstrate that she’s sensible and is open to her new surroundings.
The placement of her hand shows her bolstered confidence. Lady Yankee flirts. Which suggests she was team leader in nomine. The Standard’s salute is a sign of mutual respect and commands “eyes up here.”
