SulemanParticipantNice! I can sort of imagine that monster being disguised under some sort of huge dress or whatnot, just floating around before going nuts.
SulemanParticipantAww, damn. I’m really sorry to hear that, Weilyn was always great and very supportive.
SulemanParticipantThanks, dudes. It might take a while until I get another design done, but I think I’ll be making more of these wrestling characters. I don’t think anyone’s done a whole lot of them before. Odd, considering wrestlers are basically superheroes anyway, and those are what Heromachine was originally made for.
SulemanParticipantHah! Neat! I like the monochrome approach. I like how you give an impression of the torso with just the fur clothing. The only thing I’m not sure about is the front hand, it makes the arm look a bit limp. The whole image still works, though!
SulemanParticipantYour color work is always great, and this is no exception. Every piece fits in very nicely!
SulemanParticipantAnd here’s the first version of the San Francisco Wrestling Association championship belt.
SulemanParticipantI’m really digging the imagination you put into those. The designs are really pretty, but they still look very functional!
SulemanParticipantHere’s Constrictor, in the back with the mask, and “Granny” Bonnie Carver, in the front.
This is likely not the final version, I’m still not completely satisfied with the poses and such. Still, it should give you an idea of what I’m going for.
SulemanParticipantI’ll keep an eye open, thanks for the heads-up!
This should be the final version of Lucia. She’s Lucia Luna, and she’s a wrestling hippie girl from San Francisco. Yes, in 2015. She specializes in aerial maneuvers, and every she’s renamed them all to reference music from the 60s. Examples include Lucy In The Sky (diving crossbody) and Bad Moon (moonsault).
SulemanParticipantSleep is for the weak.
Here’s a preliminary version of a character who, at the moment, is named Lucia. She’s something of an acrobat.
That pose took some fricking work, I can assure you.
SulemanParticipantI am really, really digging the Orphans and the Forsaken. Excellent work! Amazing work with the colors and the shading.
SulemanParticipantAlright, here’s what I’m hoping is the final version of the Batters.
The Batter on the left is Brooks, the one on the right is Onishi.
SulemanParticipantNice to hear you’re liking them!
I’ve actually made several wrestler characters before. I’ll see if I can find them for you.
SulemanParticipantI’m in something of a pro wrestling mode, so here’s another wrestler design. Do note if I’ve made some sort of goof like forgetting to mask something, I’m a bit tired right now. I’ll add finishing touches to this during the weekend.
These are the Batters. They’re rude and crude brawlers who bully the other wrestlers.
SulemanParticipantI honestly couldn’t think of much to add, so I didn’t.
Big Lady Alpha was actually a working title, not the character’s name, but… to hell with it, that’s who she is now. Let’s call her Alpha Female, aka Big Alpha. She’s a small mountain of muscle and mullet, and overly fond of the tanning bed.
