I can’t speak for AMS, but to me those pieces are more like lamellar and/or scale armor, and that’s what I intended those to be in my original work.

Chain mail would look a bit different:

 

Going for that chainmail look in Heromachine, I’ve used another item, e.g. here. What I do is I mask it onto cloth items from the Tops and Legwear categories, with varying degrees of success.

Neat! I wouldn’t say that’s necessarily the best fit for chain mail, though, but perhaps some variation of lamellar.

I would say that is a major improvement. I’m not entirely sure what the collar of the latest one actually is like. Is it a popped-up collar, a hood, or what, exactly?

Really great details and colors, man. There’s just the right amount of details that they complement the work without stealing the show. I really like that. I also like how you made some of those custom items.

It’s actually really hard to pick a favorite, I dig them all.

I don’t have a good source for this at the moment, but the current hair items don’t have a lot of great options for black characters, apart from afroes and dreadlocks. I don’t really know where to begin searching, unfortunately.

I actually did find the time to make this. KING is back and while slightly more lean, he is no less mean. It’s not an exact copy of the original, I’m afraid, but I don’t think you were asking for that either. The pose is also highly experimental and I’m not sure if it works, but, here he is.

Oh, that is neat indeed! The transparency effect is great. Nice color choices, too, and a simple but solid pose.

One thing that I thought could enchance it even further is add a slight drip effect to the outstretched arm and possibly elsewhere as well, have bits of him drip to the ground and/or pour as “sweat”. That could make him look even more liquid.

Nice, You achieved a great look without using too many pieces. The shadows and the lonely little light really make this work.

This is Lady Turtle. She is very particular about discipline and little details and has been tasked to uphold the laws of the evil Empress. While not as devastatingly lethal in battle as her Lady Knight comrades, her armor protects her from just about any attack, and her turtle shield allows her to maneuver her opponents into dangerous positions.
