Well, we tend to be a pun-loving sort. Hell, that’s one of the reasons I enjoy Shakespeare so much. The man could cram a pun into any situation and still make it work. But I digress.

I enjoy your writing as well, though I don’t always fully understand it. That is to say; you use the language in such innovative and unexpected ways that to me – who doesn’t speak English that well – I have a hard time following your twists and turns at times. It’s always a blast to read, though, don’t get me wrong.

Yeah, I really enjoy your work, this gallery is just bursting with creativity.
You are correct. I’m Swedish, though I don’t live there at the moment. Why do you ask?

Thank you both! I like the effect of the snow, but I was afraid it made him look a little cluttered.

Robert Maclaighean leading the 414th Fusiliers in the defence of Hösök Bridge. Some eight hundred Caledonians held the Danube against an army of almost twenty times their number. Union cavalry arrived by the morning of the fifth day, forcing the Ottoman battallions to sound the retreat. The siege was finally lifted, but only nineteen Scotsmen remained standing.

16 and already such a full grown mustache? Is it the Haggis or what do they feed their children?! oO

It’s a false mustache, they were all the rage at the time. God, it’s been long since I had haggis. I remember really liking it, but it’s hard to find. Anyway, I made another picture of him a few years older.

Robert Maclaighean. Heir to the county of Argyll, Lieutenant of the 414th Caledonian Fusilliers. Pictured atop St. István’s Tower during the Siege of Óbuda. Aged 23.

As you can see I made two versions of him this time. Can’t decide if I want snow on his clothes or not. WHat do you think?

I tried my hand an archer’s pose a few weeks ago, but I ultimately gave up, and your Deadeye puts what little I did accomplish to shame. Awesome work!

I really love how you work with colours, always with a very crisp and clean result.
