RobMParticipantI still haven’t decided on the group’s name, but here they are:
All of this was done in HeroMachine BTW.
RobMParticipantHere is a drawing for open critique day.

RobMParticipantI took this literally and tried to picture myself as a knight, which is why I choose the softer body items for the ranger mode picture.
Full body, armored no weapon or shield
Shield Only
Full body with weapon & shield
Full body, ranger mode
RobMParticipantJust finished The Physics of Superheroes by physics professor and comic book fan James Kakalios. There’s a great section about how Seigel’s gravity-based explanation for Superman’s superstrength can only work if Krypton was actually a dead neutron star. Even though the existence of neutron stars was first proposed in 1934, it’s seems unlikely Seigel would have known about or understood them when he started developing Superman. Great intuition Jerry.
RobMParticipantI’m a 41-year-old corporate librarian for an observatory construction project based in Tucson, Arizona. I’ve been monkeying around with HM for about a year, but have only mustered the courage to enter contests in the last two months or so. I love seeing how people manipulate the HM items to create something new and different. It’s also great to see such diverse creativity and civility (rare for the internet).
If you’re interested in the observatory check out our website http://www.lsst.org/lsst/. We’re also on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/myLSST.
