How about a more front facing perspective for an Energy blast but with Kirby-style crackle?

Or a men’s dress shirt with more realistic folds like the one in the Female set

I usually use a body piece (or combination of body pieces) with all colors including the line color the same shade of say 70% gray then move the alphas down to about 60-70%. Then it’s a matter of tweaking the size ratio and positioning. Hope this helps.
