mattisagamerParticipantThank Herr! If I may call you that haha. That means a lot coming from a veteran like yourself! And I believe “The only winner of the War of 1812 was Tchaikovsky.” -Solomon Short. Haha, thanks again man.

mattisagamerParticipantBoy, masking with rectangles is a- Well, it’s tough work. I experimented with it today and used one of prswivre’s poses to get started:
With this, I added my own masking and ended up with something like this as a final product. Her name is Lily Matthews and she is one tough cowgirl you don’t want to mess with. I didn’t want to include her in my group of the Elementals, but I wanted to still incorporate her somehow (still working out all the stories. Maybe I should slow down with the character creating for a bit). I had a difficult time making her as I faulted twice when creating her. When I tried to load the save, all the rectangle masking was gone and I was a bit flustered. I remasked everything again and this is the best I could do with the degree of difficulty. I am still new to this haha. Been here for only a week! As always, feedback and criticism is always appreciated! Thanks!
Lily Matthews
mattisagamerParticipantHaha, in no way did I think I would even come close to Herr D. xD The cleverness of the humor was funny! Hopefully I can add more competition to later contests and such! Thanks for the guides, I can definitely use them. Still new to HM here so I’m still trying to grasp everything you can do with it! Thanks and congrats to Herr D for the win!

mattisagamerParticipantWell, I quit Heromachine after seeing your creations Scatman. xD Awesome work man! I’m new here, but it’s awesome to see a fellow Machiner coming back! Welcome back man and I can’t wait to see more from you.
mattisagamerParticipantFigured that be the route to go. xD It’s nice to have an awesome community that can give great feedback and advice. It’s a great way to express imagination and creations with other people with the same interests!
I just thought I’d leave this number here just to include in my portfolio of art. The Angels of Vindication. I entered it in one of the contests hosted on here and it isn’t my best, but I hope to integrate it into my story arc of the Elementals! Any feedback and criticism is always appreciated!
The Angels of Vindiciation: A Single Angel
mattisagamerParticipantThank you again Anarch! If I may call you that haha. I wanted to create a sort of menacing character, but at the same time is still a hero. Sort of rigid and tough you can say. That actually gives me a good idea for my story! Thanks again Anarch.
mattisagamerParticipantI do hope this isn’t a late entry! It’s not my best, but I quickly pieced this together when I saw this contest running. Anyway, I see we have to include a story so.. Here’s my best shot!
“We are the Angels of Vindication. We are sworn to destroy all life that is of the unknown. We take this oath and pledge our blood to the Order. With each burning day and dreadful night, we swear to fulfill our duty of eradication. No single race, order or planet can contend with our superiority. We are Hatred. We are Pain. We are Suffering. We are the Angels of Vindication.” You’d get tired of hearing that over and over a thousand times too if you were in my place. To say rejection in becoming an Angel is one thing; actually fulfilling that rejection is another. I’ve been running for days on days to escape this order of corrupt beings. As I write these words of betrayal, I swear to fulfill them. The Order is sinister and malicious and will not stop at anything to become the only beings in this universe. It is my sworn destiny to destroy these vile creatures and restore peace on Earth once more. I am the One. The being they fear. I am Legacy.”
Well that story probably sucked… I kinda used the items predictably so that’s probably my downfall. Well, hope I can put up some contention and hope I’m not too late! Thanks!

The Angels of Vindication
mattisagamerParticipantFeel free to raid what I have so far.
mattisagamerParticipantHaha, yeah saw that around the forums so I assumed I’d call ya that.
So I’m still working on the group name and their powers, but I had time to create another character in the mix. His name is Forest Maelstrom in the latest addition to the group. I’ve decided that I’d create a subgroup within the group, of which I want to include Cyan Gale and Forest Maelstrom (I want to call this group The Elementals, but it felt too cliche for me). They represent two of the four main elements (Water and Wind) as I plan to do a Fire and Earth one as well. They would be the leaders of two of the other heroes, so they would be in squadrons. For now, I am still working on all of their stories, so bare with me! Thanks!

mattisagamerParticipantVery nice Hero Machine Creations! The wide screen one is my favorite! Looking forward to seeing more!
mattisagamerParticipant@Vamon Thank you! I appreciate the comment! Yeah, I wanted to do something with the arm cross with guns, I even though of using swords but the gun idea just seemed way cooler! Thanks!
@HK Thank you man! If I may call you HK haha. Thanks for the welcome!
mattisagamerParticipantThanks for the reply Herr! That’s a great idea to fix the pointiness of the elbow haha. I started working around it trying to proportion the arms or elbow and that’s what I ended up with, but it makes a lot of sense to use the lines of the insignia to fix the elbow. Thanks for the feedback and advice!

I never thought I’d work out two HM Heroes in one day, but it seems I just had a lot of free time to work today. This is my latest heroine in the group of heroes that I soon plan to come up a story for (Hopefully by this week)! Her name is Princess Serpentina and I will work out the backgrounds and powers of my characters throughout this week as well. I think I’m starting to grasp the idea of highlighting as I feel this is a better example of me attempting highlighting than compared to Cyan Gale, but I have noticed some improvement from there to here. Any feedback and criticism is always appreciated Thanks!
Princess Serpentina
mattisagamerParticipantThank you Camruth! I appreciate the feedback. The head is slightly bigger and out of proportion to the rest of the body. I will definitely fix that and repost it with more changes! I haven’t yet finished the majority of my HM creations as I still need to add the finishing details to it, but I will definitely change the proportion of the head. Thank you for the feedback and kind comment!
-Matt
I’ve decided that I wanted to perhaps make a group of heroes like most HM users do. Mostly animal based, like how the Foxtress is with her, well, Fox. I wanted to experiment with the different poses, so I decided to make a Martial Artist Pose and work around that. The arms are slightly out of proportion and I will get to that as soon as possible to fix, but I had to share my idea with you all. Below is my latest hero, Eagle Eye.
Eagle Eye
Eagle Eye Portait
And for laughs, Fabio the Kung Fu Master
mattisagamerParticipantThanks Anarchangel! I just realized what you mean about the fox and I can clearly see it now. I think I’ll definitely change around the colors so that it doesn’t blend. I do believe why the fox blends into the leg is because of the shadow I put in the boot, so I’ll definitely change that around. Thanks again!
-Matt
mattisagamerParticipantThe Nazi designs are pretty awesome man. It reminds me a lot of the Super-Axis from Marvel. Can’t wait to see what else you do with the story arc!
