GuyGenesisParticipantThanks, I’ve got it posted up on my forum now
GuyGenesisParticipantI was looking through some of the older threads and ran through your 2.5 creations. I really like your pulsar character and was wondering if you cared if I tried my hand at him. I don’t know if your familiar, but something I like to do is remake others characters if they catch my eye, with their permission of course. Nug’s Supermom was the last one I did.
GuyGenesisParticipantRedman – Is a very solid design, the only thing I could suggest is some highlights to break up the color, but I think its’ great as is.
Maggie Mage – I like the way you used the cape as a dress, I almost didn’t notice it and the energy effect on the staff especially the handle is very well done. A simple yet solid design, though I wonder if the hood shouldn’t be part of the golden cloak?
Canadian Shield – Like the update better, the pants seem too dark(maybe try some light highlights), and probably because of the pants the feet seem to small
Haywyn – I like it. You kept the design and basically just detailed it
For someone who doesn’t use many highlights I sure suggested them enough, I’ve just noticed from others works that they break up a solid color.
GuyGenesisParticipant@Skoul, I would have to disagree, if your enemy is too busy admiring the “scenery” I think you’ve created your own defense 😉
Nice work CD and the pose just above, I don’t envy the effort friend, but definitely appreciate the result
GuyGenesisParticipantI think I finally decided what I want to claim as my prize for the national heroes contest. A lover body part in a leaping pose like this. It obviously doesn’t need to have the detail/costume that this one has. Just the pose is fine….Although I’m undecided about whether or not feet should be included.
I hate to be a party pooper but this falls under my “No Alternate body part” rule (see first post in this thread). I will take it under consideration but if you can offer an alternate (no pun intended) option I sure would appreciate it.
Hey dblade, I just saw this reply. First of all, sorry about that. I somehow managed to forget about that rule. I know it’s been a while now but can I still claim an alternate prize?
Sorry to hijack your thread, I just saw this and though it’s not perfect I gave your legs a try, hope you can use them

GuyGenesisParticipant…if there was one major community fed storyline then would all the other storylines have to be branches of the major or could they be separate universes that would ultimately converge? And then would you get branches of branches?…
My opinion, as long as the storylines didn’t have major impacts on the universe as a whole they could be of an individuals own make within prime universe or they could branch off into another universe be it your own or an almost identical one to the prime. And yes. The possibilities

GuyGenesisParticipant@CKNap, like with your Golem character I like to sometimes try my hand when a character catches my eye. Yeah that is a very handy section but has been neglected as of late.
@Skoul I was thinking public domain as in public domain but with creator defined restrictions. With the potential of leading to an overarching universe, or maybe multiverse would be more accurate where my universe could be one reality, CKNaps another, and yours yet another, etc., etc., etc., which could give you tie-ins/crossovers, alt. reality versions of characters, races, events, whatever. Your idea of a prime universe for a starting point would probably be a necessity and a good starting/jumping point. We definitely want to avoid stealing ideas from anyone and copyrighted/trademarked content. We also want to avoid leaving gaps by deciding to remove content. That’s definitely a point of discussion that needs to be focused on.
But as I said, I’ve tried this before…
Black Pegasus (latest)

I think I’ve jumped in without the community though and thus it has went nowhere, so basically what we’re doing here is just spitballing ideas as to what do you want this to be? and how should it work?
GuyGenesisParticipantI apologize for posting this in your main thread but I couldnt seem to figure out a private message. Iv been playing around with a character you let me use trying to create a new body from it. If you have the time Id like to request your help/advice. Perhaps even adding it for the community to use. Let me know if your interested and ill share the details.
Sorry it took me so long to respond, haven’t been on in a few days. Of course I don’t care to help you out.
GuyGenesisParticipantI don’t want to step on any toes, though I’m always willing to help if I can.
How to put this?
HM is a fantastic program with many great artists. The possibilities of what can be done are nigh impossible. You have your solid character designers, the “zyping”(shading) masters, those that truly have an eye for color, some that can pose like nobodies business, others that can take a predefined style and make it not only their own but completely recognizable from others(a feat in itself), and still more willing to try new things which sometimes don’t work, but when they do you find they’ve created something special in a way that makes you appreciate the programs capabilities all over again, for they’ve pushed past its’ perceived boundaries. Of course there are still, including the formerly mentioned, machiners that can do it all to some extent, and there’s always the up and comers bringing their own flare to it, but as with the program we all have or strengths and weaknesses. When someone excels at one aspect another usually falls short, and that’s not intended a knock on anyone or even the program itself. Personally I’m proud of my designs overall (I feel this is what I do best), I can do a little posing, but I find it becomes increasingly harder the more dynamic the pose to cloth them where most items are designed for and thus I stick to the base figure. I can do a little shading, (I feel my faces become too muddied, but due to a great community I know I can look to AMS or Candruth, among others for help in overcoming this weakness) whereas I also find it very time cosuming and thus wave the results which truly speak for themselves. I kinda lost the point I was trying to make somewhere alongside Han(within the wall). Anyways if for whatever reason a dynamic pose is not on your radar(its’ usually not on mine), sometimes something as small as arm placement can still achieve the desired effect.
GuyGenesisParticipantI really like your range of characters Vamp.
The general design of your creator club jacket is very cool.
Commander Dimension is classic Vampyrist with the phasing/zones thing (a showing of powers in a unique way that you do). I can picture him being at the mercy of a behemoth’s bearhug then freeing himself with a phasing punch followed by a pat on the back 😉
GuyGenesisParticipantThe more I look at this the more I like it. Admittedly I don’t know what the original looked like, but I’m going out on a limb here and saying you went in the right direction with the redesign
GuyGenesisParticipantI see a lot of potential here, looking forward to future designs.
GuyGenesisParticipantYeah I guess you could say a character like that would give new meaning (well I guess literal meaning) to kicking like a mule. now if he only had crocodile teeth.
I’d hate to see him on the gallows though, (I have to apologize in advance for this) One could say he was hung like a horse.
GuyGenesisParticipantHuh, a centaur cowboy? Actually seems a perfect blend and a big hit with “PETA” (no more spurs). I have to admit the name would even be perfect if only the body was that of a bovine. Bad jokes aside I genuinely like the idea
Margravine Sophie du Maurier is very cool as well
