Magnus MaximusParticipantTide and her people are awesome! They look like something I could easily see showing up in an Aquaman comic or something.
Magnus MaximusParticipantHey, Tiberius! Great start, but I just wanted to let you know about something that you might have overlooked in the forum rules: you can’t have Jedi characters or any characters with any names or titles that are in Star Wars, because that would be a copyright issue and the biggest and most important rule on the forums is no copyrighted characters. I’m not trying to put you down, your characters look great! It’s just that you might have had a small oversight.
Magnus MaximusParticipantI loved the character from the start; he was always one of my favorites of yours. But I love what you did with this version! Just seeing the two of them side by side shows just how much your own skill has changed and improved. The second version looks better because he’s slimmer and more streamlined, and the masking on the left leg is flawless!
Magnus MaximusParticipantHey ams! Do you have a standard front-facing pose that you use? For your LEGEND character, for example?
Magnus MaximusParticipantHey guys! It’s sure been a while! I’m getting ready to move into college in a bit, so these next couple of weeks are going to be pretty crazy. But in the meantime, I’ve been practicing making some Victorian-type street clothes. This is the sort of men’s fashion you would see in things like Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, the American Civil War/”Wild West” era, and the majority of British period dramas, among others. I feel more satisfied with this attempt than I have with other times I’ve tried.

Magnus MaximusParticipantHey ams! I was just looking through some of your characters again, and as always, they’re mindblowing! I was wondering, do you think you could make this pose for me? It would help with an idea for a character (not Superman, I promise) that I have in my head right now.

Magnus MaximusParticipantThese are amazing! I might use some of these, with your permission?
Magnus MaximusParticipant@Suleman thanks! What I was mostly going off of was AMS’ take on your Lady Knight. She had what looked like chain mail sleeves in his version. Was I wrong?
Magnus MaximusParticipant*Sits up slowly* How many centuries have passed?!
Gosh, it’s really been a while since I posted anything! I guess I let life get too much in the way. Well, I’m back! At least for now.
To get the ball rolling again, here’s a WIP I’m working on. I’ve been watching a lot of medieval-themed movies lately, so this is inspired by the likes of Kingdom of Heaven, Arn: The Knight Templar, various Robin Hoods, and some of the English soldiers in Braveheart. So I won’t get busted for plagiarism, credit for the chain mail design goes to AMS, branching off of Suleman’s original work.

Magnus MaximusParticipantLady Knight is fantastic! I particularly love the chain mail look on the sleeves. What item(s) did you use?
Magnus MaximusParticipantWow! Blood Raven is now one of my new favorites of yours!
Magnus MaximusParticipantAwesome! Welcome back to the field, General!
Magnus MaximusParticipantAwesome. Thanks man!
Magnus MaximusParticipantHey Therianthrope, do you mind telling me what the trick is for making a hood like that? I know there’s masking involved but what do you mask the items to? Do you use an insignia?
Magnus MaximusParticipantWow! That’s amazing!
