Mad JackParticipantJust finished:
LILITH – Already worshipped by the ancient sumerian as a goddess of the night and identified as female demon in the talmud Lilith was allegedly Adam’s first wife, who left Adam after she refused to become subservient to him and was banished from the garden of eden after mating with archangel Samael – the angel of death.Lilith is a vampyre and therefore amongst others a shapeshifter (she can grow huge bat-like wings and transform into a wolf-like creature), possesses healing powers and eternal youth through the drinking of blood but isn’t immortal in the narrow sense of the word, and can turn people into serving zombies called “Ghuls” with her bite. Contrary to common superstitions she has no problem walking in the sun or eating garlic and has a fondness for silver jewelry – but she has indeed no reflexion in the mirror and can’t enter peoples home the first time without invitation (but in times of mortgages, internet and chat rooms how do you define “home” or “invitation”?).
Because of Liliths seductive nature men understandably get ecstasiate when she sucks their …
… blood! (What did you think?!)
Mad JackParticipantKartoffelpuffer – or as they are called here in bavaria: Reiberdatschi …mmm – getting hungry…
Another Grimm:
JORÅŒGUMO (女郎蜘蛛) – This spider woman comes from asia where she entered the japanese folklore as a dreaded maneating yÅkai. Besides her shapshifting capability and the proportional powers of a spider she has the abilty to seduce any men and to bend their will into indulging her every whim.
Mad JackParticipant@The Atomic Punk said:
Der Rattenfänger von Hameln… Mutti would read us the story along with the original Grimm tales… in Deutsch. Great interpretation. Viele Erinnerungen…The original Grimms tales? Really?!
Because theres a big difference between the original stories and the “softened” ones everybody knows. The originals were very gory and partly racy – so not really for kids than rather for adults…
Mad JackParticipant@livewyre1014 said:
Glad you’re getting some use out of my humble poses. Keep em comin!!!Posing is one of my greatest weaknesses and are – along with missing skills regarding proportions – the main reasons I can’t draw very well. So I have to thank you for your generosity in sharing your poses – it’s a welcome change for me from my otherwise rather static creations. In other words: Keep the poses coming…
Here another member of the Grimms:
RATCATCHER – Fitted with the ability to control animals and humans equally with his pheromonal powers he founded amongst others the myth of the “pied piper” (better known as “Der Rattenfänger von Hameln”). His ethereal music serves to calm his victims before his pheromones kick in…
Mad JackParticipantTHX!
THE GRIMMS – For thousands of years a tribe of superhumans created by the alien race of Mata’Nui (aka “The Grey”) lived hidden on the technologically cloaked island Atlantis just remembered by humans in myths, tales and legends. That was until their home was unmasked in the events of the attack of “The Harvesters” and the world learned about their true existence.
After the war against the alien invaders some of those “Lost Gods” decided to help the humans in rebuilding their society, but others – who frequently visited the outside world before and founded some folktales hereby – remembered their days as gods of the ancient Greeks, Vikings and even Mayas and formed a group with the objective to regain this status – no matter what the cost.
These terrorists become known as “LOST GODS“. Here are some of their members:
______________________________________________________________________________________________MOONDOG – A werwolf (obviously)… (thx to livewyre for the “stance” pose)
______________________________________________________________________________________________WILD BULL – Descendant of the legendary Minotaur… (thx to livewyre for the partially used “brute” pose and furthermore for the inspiration by his awesome minotaur)
Mad JackParticipantBLACKSMITH – The extraordinary inventive genius Rupert Alexander (“Alex”) Powell with double majors in physics and engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.) used his mechanical aptitude to build up a business and turn it into a multi-billion dollar industry complex with government contracts for advanced weaponry and munitions.
As a spoiled playboy and thrillseeker Alex plowed most of his money into cars, parties and orgies of sex until the day he was late for the demonstration of his newest weapon for the military: “The Behemoth”. Having a big hangover from his latest debaucheries Alex arrived too late and didn’t notice the manipulations on the machine done by his disgruntled business partner Edward Antony.
When the weapon system failed due to the sabotage Alex went on the test site presumptuous stating only he could fix it. But at exact the same moment when he discovered the tampering it caused a short circuit followed by an explosion that nearly killed Alex. Altough he eventually survived the attempt on his life, he remained crippled and paraplegic for the rest of his life.
Realizing his mistakes Alex changed his life afterwards starting with his coming out and focussing on being a better human. After the war against “The Harvesters” he founded a new enterprise called “The Workshop” where scientists, philosophers and other free-thinking individuals from various fields of expertise are brought into contact and act as a group in working on a better future for all of humanity by exploring the salvaged technologies from the crashlanded alien-ships.
Seeing the need for heroes in a devastated world Alex constructed or improved the weapons and equipment of various super-villains and even built a high-tech armor with an exoskeleton to become a superhero himself…
Close-Up Alex Powell
Close-Up Armor
Close-Up Armor Escape Mode
______________________________________________________________________________________________ARMORY – A former pilot in the United States Marines Rodney “Rod” James was discharged from the army because of his candor under the “Don’t Ask Don’t Tell” policy when his superiors got wind of his sexual orientation. Looking for a new job he found a new engagement as securty chief and personal bodyguard of Alex Powell after his accident.
Still being in the closet himself Alex was stunned how Rod took his homosexuality in stride and eventually confided in him. Over time they bonded in their efforts to build a new life for Alex and they ultimately fell in love. The announcement of their engagement in a press conference was Alex’ coming out…
When Alex some years later decided to become a superhero he built an armor for his husband as well and so Rodney James became the first open gay hero called “Armory“.
Mad JackParticipantFixed the code as best as i could – wasn’t quite easy…

Mad JackParticipantThanks – I’m flattered…
Now come sing with me:
“And I think it’s gonna be a long, long time ‘til touch down brings
me round again to find I’m not the man they think I am at home
Oh no, no, no, I’m a Rocket Man
ROCKET MAN, burning out his fuse up here alone”
What happens when an Elton-John-Fan, who happens to be a former soviet rocket scientist, stumbles over alien technology?Ask Iwan Kowaljow…

ALBION KNIGHT – Albert Byron, industrial tycoon and Lord of Byronshire, found an age-old knight’s armor in the attic of the manor, he inherited from a distant relative and had to learn of its mystical powers, when he put it on for a masquerade ball he staged and terrorists attacked his estate to kill the high-ranking politicians amongst his guests. The armor provided him with enhanced strength, velocity and a forcefield and enabled him to easily defeat an kill the assailants.Studying the armors history he could trace it back to the times of King Arthur, where it was enchanted by Merlyn personally. When he discovered that his family descended from none other than the valiant Sir Galahad of the round table itself, he decided to become a crimefighter after updating the armor with high-tech components.
He quickly became a british national hero and was even knighted by King William of England to be now Sir Albert Byron – The Albion Knight…

ANKH – When the young cameleer Fasil Abu Khaled got in the way of a tomb robber and foiled the desecrating of pharao Weneg-adj’ sarcophagus he snatched an ancient ansated cross out of the thief’s hands. When he put the golden ankh back on the sarcophagus despite of his own poverty it started to glow and the egyptian god Anubis himself appeared in front of him.Anbubis manifested that he had chosen Fasil in virtue of his bravery and noble mind to become his champion and granted him immortality as well as the ability to give crude life to inanimate objects and to ranimate corpses along with the control over them and the power to invoke the spirits of the deceased to do his biddings. Furthermore he can accelerate or reverse age of organisms and non-living objects at will.
With these bounties he became not only the national hero of egypt, but also the grim guardian of mankind and reaper of all depraved souls called “Ankh”…
Mad JackParticipantOkay – here some new stuff (click picture to see a detailed view):
MEN:
(KWAKU) ANANSE – The devious trickster from Africa. Is he hero or villain? Sometimes both…
ANGSTROM (Ã…ngström) – Capable to generate and manipulate energy like i.e. different wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation, light, x-rays and many more…
KRAKEN – The human squid. Look out for his hugs!
SHORTCUT – Teleporter, who can open portals between different places. (thx to FRM for the pose)
______________________________________________________________________________________________ALIENS:
Z’KADA – An insectoid race from outer space. Together with the Thr’mk and the Draq they make a perfect team called “The Harvesters” to conquer worlds and enslave its population, while they accomplish the predatory exploitation of the planets resources.
DRAQ – A reptilian lifeform. Part of the Harvester-Trinity…
DANFA – An amphibian tribe whose planet was obliterated by “The Harvesters”. The survivors were integrated in their cluster as a caste of slaves.
ALIENSLAVE (revised) – Victim of “The Harvesters”
DK-F135Z – One of thousands of Technozombies created by “The Harvesters” as soldier-drones.
OUTLANDER – Emissary of an unknown alien species send to earth to monitor the proper use of the salvaged alien technology by humans after they defeated and dislodged “The Harvesters”. He has the ability to generate an unidentified form of energy and form them into solid constructs of all kinds. It is unbeknownst if this power comes from the hight-tech armor he wears of from himself.
______________________________________________________________________________________________Time for a COUNTERSTRIKE:
After “The Walker” mysteriously left, some people who he touched started to develop superpowers. They formed a resistance and are in vanguard, when the guerillas strike against their alien oppressors.
ARANHA – The former brasilian supermodel Ana Moreira possesses the proportionate powers of a spider and don’t like to show her face since her mutation. (thx to Kaldath for the pose)
ARCTICA – Former supermodel Ingrid Iskallson from Sweden has the cryogenetic ability to lower her external and internal body temperature, projecting intense coldness from her body. (thx to AMS for the pose)
GUNN – The Ex-Marine and combat veteran Mike Gunn can generate psychokinetic highly explosive energy and is able to loose them, among other things, as bullet-like blasts from his fingers. (thx to prswirve for the pose and FRM for the hands)
HARRIER – Harry Lynch owns a set of huge bird-like wings which provides him with the ability to fly at a speed of approximately 155 mph. Furthermore he can mentally communicate with birds and “see” through their eyes. (thx to AMS for the pose)
LEVIN – The living lightning Eli Levinson can generate raw electricity with an output of 1.21 Giga-Watt at up to 200,000 Ampere and is able to control and manipulate any source of electricity. He can charge devices with electricity, but also drain the energy from them into himself. (thx to Blue Blazer for the inspiration with “Angstrom” and “Sparkman”)
METALHEAD – Former Roadie Eddie Young has comprehensive magnetic control over all forms of ferrous metal and utilizes his power mainly to build complex machines and to enhance his own combat skills. (thx to AMS for the pose)
PORTER – John Porter creates teleportational “gateways”, which can traverse both time (limited) and space (unlimited) and can be used for both observation and transport. The limits of how much mass he can transport is yet unknown, but too much weakens him badly. In addition he is a sharpshooter, so watch what he can do with gateways and bullets… (thx to AMS for the pose)
PSYCH – Little is known about the man called Peter Sycamore, since he doesn’t talk. But who needs to talk, if he is a telepath? He communicates with others through (hopefully nice) pictures in their heads and is able to telekinetically move, levitate, control, and manipulate solid matter, people, and inanimate objects with a mere thought. (thx to AMS – I think – for the pose)
VELOX – As a speedster Vinnie Lowell is capable of running faster than the speed of sound at Mach 2 (1,491 miles per hour) for an amount of 5 hours before reducing his speed to replenish his body’s store of energy. He is also surrounded by some sort of aura, which protects him from the harsh conditions associated with mach speeds. (thx to AMS for the pose and to Scatman for the inspiration with “D-Hazard”)
Mad JackParticipantI give you the all new Union Jack:
Mad JackParticipantI suppose it doesn’t make much sense to post my marvel/dc-amalgam-characters after the removal of “Union Jack” …
Well then let’s stick to my own:
A man with no memory and only known under the name “Walker” is uncontrolled hurled back- and forward through time to places of special historical significance and needs to try and prevent a disaster in our time that obliterates the civilization and half of all people living and at the same time find out who he is, what makes him a time traveler, and why some people suddenly develop strange abilities when they are around him …
CHAPTER ONE:
A man wakes up stark naked and without memories in a dirty, run-down alley in New York.
Having wrapped up in a few rags from a Dumpster, he leaves the lane and meets a post-apocalyptic scenery. All of Manhattan is in ruins, the few skyscrapers that have not collapsed are on fire and in the distance you can see that the Statue of Liberty is broken in the middle and from the upper part, only the head and the torch project partially from the water.
While he is stunned motionless he is discovered by odd looking “men” dressed in what looks like space suits out of a sci-fi movie. At the same time as they call him something in a harsh, guttral language he doesn’t recognize, the manhole cover in front of him is opened and several hands in ragged clothes drag him into the hole.
Shortly thereafter, he is led by three hooded people through the sewer to an underground room filled with a ragtag bunch of adults and young people of all ages which are in a poor condition and have apparently found refuge from pursuers here.
From men who have taken him, he learns that these were the last free people in the city and that they were just looking for more survivors when they found him and brought him to safety.
They tell the newcomer the story about the first contact of mankind with aliens that attacked earth on December 21, 2012 and managed to conquer it within a day, which wiped out half of humanity while the other half were enslaved.
Shortly after he has processed this information, the air around the man begins to shimmer, the air pressure drops off rapidly and the lights begin to flicker. At the same moment as a shrill indefinable screeching starts the contours of the man begin to blur and before the bystanders can do something he vanishes into thin air before leaving behind just a vacuum in the air that dissolves with a strong blast which throws the people against the walls.
Some time after his disappearance some people who were close to him, start to develop strange powers …
CHAPTER TWO:A man wakes up in rags staring with dirt somewhere in the desert of New Mexico. Following the lights in the distance he reaches a small town in the middle of the night, where he finds a stack of newspapers in front of a kiosk, which put him a shock.
The name of the newspaper is “Roswell Daily Record” and directly below the date of July 8, 1947 the headline states in bold letters “RAAF Captures Flying Saucer On Ranch in Roswell Region” …
(… to be continued on my website)
Mad JackParticipantThanks for the compliments – really appreciate that.
For a more detailed view here links to the full-scale resolutions pictures (2048×1536) of each character in my webspace. I also added markings to those characters I actually refined with Photoshop (and what I did) – you’ll see it wasn’t too much…
And please don’t judge me for the watermarks – I plan on relaunch my current website as comicpage with all my characters including their background stories and a concept for an entire superhero-universe based an those characters with full comic-stories. Concepts are already written – so much to do, but so short of time… (sigh)

cool twins!
Thanks!
Sadly, they are pretty sick bastards:
Alisa and Alexey Rasputin are descendants of the russian Magician Grigori Jefimowitsch Rasputin and as such natural conductors of magic energies.
Alisa can telepathically read the subconscious of people and inflict pain to any living creature to control them in this way mentally like puppets to do any of her biddings.
Alexey is capable to siphon the vital energy of beings to amplify his own powers and can accelerate the aging process of any matter or organism till they crumble to dust. When the twins touch each other, the can perform dark magic – the more intense the contact, the more powerful the magic (don’t ask, don’t tell) – for a quick spell they carry a small body part of each other around.
Hmm, maybe I’m sick too by coming up with such things… oO
