Here’s a few characters designed for a pseudo-comic-universe I’ve been playing around with in my head, and will eventually make a second thread for that will include their backstories and how they all tie together. For now though, here’s the images at least.

Another little somethin’ for a bigger somethin’. I’m very happy with how this one turned out though, this was one of the few times where the end result perfectly matched the idea in my head.

Felt like playing around with silhouette-y imagery a little and decided to direct that two-toned lovin’ to Patchy.

Since Patch seems to be getting quite a bit of praise, I decided to create this small scene with him. Here a man finds the stitched up mercenary unaware in an alley, and decides to find out for himself just what lies under that mask…

This one was quite fun to make, and I think turned out really well.

A mysterious gun-slinging mercenary known only as “Patch”. Some people believe that there’s no body underneath all his rags and stitches, simply a large bundle of patchwork and cloth with only one desire: To put a bullet in your skull.

Anywho it’s been awhile since I opened up the ol’ Heromachine, so figured I’d get back and sharpen my skills a bit with another little tribute to my favourite faceless abomination.

It’s the costume creator from an old MMO called City of Heroes. Sadly the game was shut down permanently in November, so using its character creator now requires a bit of trickery.

This next bunch of characters are not HM, but they’re things I’ve made with another character creator thing and so I figured I’d share them here. Hell I’d love to see somebody try to recreate any of them in Heromachine. Some of you may also recognize what these were all made in as well.

Another attempt to be all artsy. This one doesn’t really have any personal meaning to me, just a simple “war is baaaad” type thing. Am I a hippy now for making this? I don’t wanna be a hippy.
