livewyre1014ParticipantAlright friends…it’s been quite awhile since I’ve been able to crank out any designs. Work, holidays, second degree burns…it’s always something. But I’M BACK folks, and for my first trick…I present CHARM!! All of her charms on her bracelets can be brought to life or expanded. Swords, sheilds, vehicles, animals, energies, every charm is another weapon in her arsenal. It’s good to be back fellow machiners.
livewyre1014Participantvery original style…I’m a fan
livewyre1014Participantcreepy eye guys…AMAZING!!! blew my mind, concept and execution is perfect, well done sir!
livewyre1014Participantawesome…love the name and the design. Good work my friend.
livewyre1014Participantlove it…love everything about it.
livewyre1014Participantoutstanding work sir…and I love the redesign of the Exile. Much better!
livewyre1014ParticipantWell declaring a winner this week is someone easy due to the turn out of one…but let me give a heart felt thanks to JR for two fantastic characters. Honestly, I love them both so much I’m keeping both of them for the Brainstorm stories, great job sir. I have been absent from the forums lately due to work conflicts, but rest assured the Freelance Universe powers on, as does the contest for creating it’s new great villains. This week, I’m looking for villains for the Mystery Man series. Mystery Man is a costumed vigilante with no powers, fighting to save a city so fallen to evil that most of it’s infrastructure is run my corruption and crime. Think Batman and Gotham type villains. I need an enforcer for Black Jack, the city’s main crime lord. Someone with no powers, but someone brutal and remorseless. Ready and GO!!!
livewyre1014Participantthat’s OUTSTANDING work sir!!!
livewyre1014ParticipantAlright noble machiners, new week, new villain challenge. This time, I’m looking for a Brainstorm villain. Joel Johnson was a psycic with moderate ablilities until his mind was used as a host by the alien Mek Var Lem. Mek’s race is pure mental energy, however they need corporeal bodies to inhabit, so they build their own. When Mek’s ship crashed on earth, his host body was injured beyond repair, so Mek sought out the first human who could contain his essence. Joel was that person, and now, with his alien friend living in his head, his powers are off the scale, and he has the consult of someone with a universe of knowledge in his mind. I need a villain who is connected to Mek Var Lem. Another of his own race, an alien bounty hunter, something extraterrestrial that knows of Mek Var Lem. And….GO!!!
livewyre1014ParticipantWhen the white man came…the slaughters villages. Men, women, children. They took our land and our lives. We must have our revenge. We cursed you with eternal life and undying hatred…you cannot be killed, and you must always kill. Spirits forgive us for what we have created. I give you the unkillable Bloodbone!!
livewyre1014ParticipantFirst off, let me thank all the machiners who took part in my first contest. I hope you all had some fun…now on to the judgement.
While all of the designs were awesome, I appreciated the backstories for each character just as much.
@ JR19759…both of your entries were fantastic. However, between the two of them, I think Kargan is more what I was looking for in terms of a villain for Ganesha. Everyone likes to see two brutes go after each other. Hiranyaksha is a great character, but the story you gave him I think makes him more of a threat for the entire PowerForce team rather than just Ganesha, but if it’s alright with you, I’d like to keep him for that purpose.
@ headlessgeneral…like JR’s Hiranyaksha, I think the Exile is a great character, but his story lends itself to a world conquering Ultra-villain. On a more personal note, I am a HUGE fan of the way you shade and color characters…you should def. post a tutorial showing your technique. It’s amazing.
@ Alexander…more than any of the others, I liked your characters backstory the most. What a cool concept and the design is awesome as well. For the Ganesha villain contest, the two entries that it really came down to was Kargan and Entity…and after hours of consideration I am declaring the win goes to…JR’s KARGAN. Congratulations sir, he is truly a villain to match blow to blow with the God of strength and the remover of obstacles.
livewyre1014ParticipantAlright folks…today is the last day to enter before I select the winner tomorrow. Already have some amazing designs to compete with, so let’s see if the competition can get even hotter!
livewyre1014ParticipantI didn’t even notice this one! Darn…oh well, I shall wait for the next character. Congrats to the first BB dual winners!
livewyre1014ParticipantHere’s another member of AwesomeCorps….after riding a football scholarship to a great school, he worked with his mentoring proffessor to develop technology that allowed them to control the fundamental force of gravity. His proffessor took the original suit and used it for evil means, but Thomas here developed his own Gravity Gauntlets to even the playing field. He was later recruited by Boss Awesome to join the super science avengers known as AwesomeCorps. I give you Tommy Thompson…the Graviton!!!
livewyre1014Participantlooking great so far…contest open until saturday with winner announced on sunday. C’mon machiners…show me what you got to fight a god!!!
