Chapter 2 – Andy
Sara

Andy soon got used to school, although he quickly discovered that his education had been very spotty. His parents, who had decided to homeschool their son rather than making him change schools every time they moved, had focused on the subjects they knew best: reading, writing, history and science. As a result, Andy was miles ahead of his classmates in some subjects, but a long way behind in others.

A week after starting, Andy was moved down a group for Maths, and was immediately intrigued by one of his new classmates.

[And this is where I originally started. Really bad place, I know.]

“Who is that guy?” he asked Dan.

Dan was confused. “Who?”

When Andy pointed out the boy, Dan burst out laughing, and it was a whole minute before he’d calmed down enough to explain.

“See, ‘That guy’ is actually a girl. Her name’s Sara Kagé.”

Sara? A girl? With hair that short? Andy was fascinated, and wanted to go and talk to Sara, but Dan pulled him back.

“I wouldn’t if I was you. Sara’s pretty weird.”

“Weird how?” Andy wondered. If someone in a crazy school is called “weird” by the mad students, does that mean they’re actually normal?

“She never talks. Not ever. And no-one knows why.”

Andy had to agree, that was weird. He was even more curious about Sara Kagé than he had been before he knew her name, and decided that finding out why Sara never spoke would keep him occupied until his parents came to fetch him.

One of the less successful experiments in the field of robotics, seeing as it did little else except sleep. So, they placed it in it’s natural habitat- a nice comfy tree.

Hi! I’m Kaylin, Kaylin88100 on here. I’m 14, nearly 15, and I’m not allowed (by my parents) to tell you my real name. 😛
I love reading and drawing, which led to reading internet blogs and creating HM images. Incidentally, Kaylin is a character in a book I read once.
I live in the UK, which means, for those of you that live in the USA (and from what I’ve seen that’s quite a lot of you) I’m about 5 to 7 hours ahead of you. I post something in my afternoon, you’re reading it in your morning. Pretty confusing, huh?
I’ve never won a contest, but I try and enter every character design one, and I’ve got over 10 Finalists now! I’m so happy.
I’ve been using HM for about 2 years or so, but I only really discovered the blog last June – just too late to enter the Taurus contest! The first one I entered was Gemini. My first Finalist was in the Cyborg contest. If you’re interested, all my Finalists (I think!) are on my Characters page in the Art Gallery on this forum.
I also write stories: there’s the start of one, Wall of Silence, in the Writer’s Room. Please, check it out, tell me what you think! I love feedback!
I’ve probably gone on waaaaaaaaaay too long, so I’ll finish by saying that I love HeroMachine and the community, and I think I’m addicted.

I will post a similar pose to show how I get the 3/4 turn effect.  The hands are actually from a complete female pose in the female body items masked to a insignia shape.  His right foot is a female foot also. (actually they both are!).

 

So take a look at this first and we will work on colors later.

That’s OK, thanks for the pose
Just one thing though – is this the actual pose you used for Stonebourne? ‘Cause that’s the one I wanted. Sorry if I sound whiny or demanding, I just really love the pose.

On a completely unrelated note, am I the only one seeing a new layout? It sucks ’cause I can’t see how to add pics or anything
