OK, that was a week ago and I still haven’t figured out a good way of sharing this tutorial with you guys. It’s too big to share on this site, and I don’t like MediaFire. Oh well…here you go. Any suggestions on better ways to do this?

No, coloured backgrounds are fine. At some point I was planning to go back and redo all the background-less ones so they had backgrounds anyway, and you might have noticed I’m doing more with backgrounds on the more recent pages, such as the Human Magic page. The reason those original pictures have no background is that I was focusing on the character or creature shown, but I’d like to show some of them in their natural habitat at some point.

That reminds me – if either of you would like to have a go at making me a Salamander family, I’d be delighted. Ditto Merpeople, B-dang-dangs, Sprites and Griffins – oh, and a baby Dravir would be nice as well. It’s mostly babies or children that I want pictures of, really – I haven’t got round to making any images of them yet. Thanks.

Also, if you could send me the text files of those two images (the mage and the Fenris) so I can work on them a bit, that would be great. PM me or something. If you don’t want to, that’s fine. I’ll just either use them as they are or try and recreate them.

FRM and Zerogarth, take a look through the pages. If you see a note saying “picture coming soon”, go for it. Also, I’d like someone to make me a replacement Fenris (Lupi and Vampires page).

Yeah, making manga on HM is hard. I speak from experience – although I’ve only really tried it seriously a few times. I just don’t think it’s worth the effort trying to use the program for something it’s really not designed for, when I can draw manga just as well by hand.

If I might make a suggestion, the manga girl looks a bit cross-eyed. Maybe you could move the eyes a bit so they’re either looking forward, or at least the same direction? It would definitely help.

PROGRESS UPDATE:
Changed the picture on the homepage to Zerogarth’s generously provided improved version.
Added some info to the “Eosi” page and a link to that page on “Races of Kairula”.
Replaced the Stone age cave picture on “History of the Dragons” with a better version and added some more of the story.
