Kaylin88100ParticipantI was just thinking that most of your characters would be perfect for this contest…
Kaylin88100ParticipantYou might have to uncross them at some point…the judging isn’t until next Monday!
On a slightly more serious note, some nice stuff you have here. Is this your first contest entry?

Nice story for Prometheus, and the little flame-shaped pin on his lapel is a neat touch.
Oh wow! I hadn’t noticed that! Shows how observant I am this morning…
I agree, nice touch.
Kaylin88100ParticipantCongrats! And like Livewyre, I am also a huge fan. Love your work!

Tried the 3/4 masking thing. Stumped.
It is pretty difficult, isn’t it? What exactly don’t you get?
Kaylin88100ParticipantFor how to shade, see this guide by ams: http://www.heromachine.com/forum/tips-tricks-how-tos-and-guides/how-to-highlightshade/
I use shading slightly differently to ams, but that should help. The main difference is that I use shadows a lot more, and focus on where the light isn’t hitting as well as where it is.
Kaylin88100ParticipantNice posing, I especially like what you did with the coat.
Kaylin88100ParticipantNice “messy” effect on the hair.
Kaylin88100ParticipantWelcome aboard.
Kaylin88100ParticipantNice work! Welcome.
Kaylin88100ParticipantI think your colouring and composition is amazing!
Kaylin88100ParticipantPROGRESS UPDATE:
Added the “Téras” page, but there’s not much on there at the moment. If anyone wants to make me an elven child (either sort, as long as you get the hair colour right! ), feel free.
Kaylin88100Participant
Kaylin88100ParticipantLovely, Harlequin. Thanks. Could you post the text files please?
Keep ’em coming, folks! Also, bonus points to the first person to spot the tiny little mistake in Harlequin’s pictures.
Kaylin88100ParticipantGreed is pretty cool! (and so is the dragon thing)
