Kaylin88100ParticipantThere are a few spikes that look quite good. There’s one on the last page of ShoulderRight-Standard, and more in the Head-Aliens and Ears-Standard categories. Take your pick! Or you could find one on a Companion and mask it, but that’s a bit more work.

Promise is a promise.
A kiss…
a forbidden love…
They know what will they do is not correct…
But the love is always win (i think this senctence i copyright )Good idea, copyright that sentence! Thank you for gracing my humble competition with your beautiful art, Harlequin. You’ve also given me the first entry to include multiple characters, Lancelot and Guinevere – I’m hoping for more pairs and groups now. I also love the characters themselves – I think this is the best Gwen I’ve had so far, but not by much! Lancelot hasn’t been so popular, but this one is winning at the moment. I just hope you haven’t discouraged anyone from entering!

seeing all of these makes me sad on my HM skills. great pictures!
Don’t let them depress you! When you see something great that someone has achieved with HM, just remember that their first attempts were just as basic as your first attempt, and they only got better with practice. Look at them as inspiration and an example of what you can achieve if you work at it and practise with the program – that’s what I do. I still consider myself a “student” with HM, and I’m constantly trying to learn from the more advanced students that produce such beautiful inspiration for me. I could name ams, Harlequin, and many more…but remember we all started at the same point.

Would that mystery character happen to be Mordred, Kaylin? Because I made a version or Mordred and posted it, but I don’t think anyone saw it.
No, prswive is right. Mordred has about 3 entries already, and don’t worry, I have seen yours. The “mystery character” that no-one has tackled yet is the one I’ve introduced to the story, so I’m not really surprised that no-one’s gone for him yet. He’s Arthur and Guinevere’s son, who I think is younger than Mordred. He’ll probably have light coloured hair and look slightly elvish, if anyone’s interested.
Kaylin88100ParticipantHappens to me about once a week…luckily, I wised up after about the second time it happened, and I now make sure I save everything on text if I want to keep it longer than a single session.

Here Kaylin i made you a younger King Arthur in his prime… Sorry got no time to highlight and shade though…
It looks great even without the highlighting and shading, don’t worry. If you want to, you could come back later and shade it, and then post the new version? That would be great, but it’s fine as it is. I think Arthur is racking up the most entries, which isn’t really surprising since he is the main character, but I would like to see more interest in the others. By the way, I actually have a character that no-one’s tackled yet, if anyone wants to have a look at the list in post #1…

So I just thought Id point out the reason for my design.
As you stated he was to be younger so I designed Merlin to be in his youth and not much of a mage at the time. The red outfit basically tells the world that though he is not an expert (yet) he will be one day and shall wear a blue robe(symbol of an expert).
He has only recently started growing his hair and beard out as this merlin has the flaw of being somewhat lazy to shave or cut his own hair. His staff is an old branch covered in spells he is trying to memorize and his amulet is of course magical. Hope this is acceptableYes, that’s great. It’s good to see some more creative approaches to the story such as this one. Thank you for being, I think, the 2nd person to give me an entry for Merlin.

Kaylin here’s my take on a younger Uther Pendragon…
At last i finished him for the third try without my PC crashing… lol!Yay! He looks great, and Uther now has an entry. Just one question – can we switch your entries for Arthur and Uther? Because it’s bugging me slightly that your Uther looks younger than his son!

Here’s my last entry to complete the characters for this challenge… Elf Queen Guinevere… The Power of the Land as Arthur is King… The two of them, always entwined, but never touching…
Very nice. I think you’ve done an entry for nearly every character now, as well as one I wasn’t expecting! If you feel like it, I’d love to see your interpretation of Merlin and/or Uther, just to round it off. Poor Uther, no-one’s given me an entry for him yet.

I hope this not closed because i want to make a love screen or a family screen.
Go ahead and enter, I always enjoy your work. I don’t think this contest will ever close – I’ll leave it open as long as people still want to enter. I’m just wondering how long this sudden glut of entries will last, and I plan to enjoy it while it does!
Kaylin88100ParticipantWow! What a lot of entries! I love all yours, prswirve, and I can’t believe you’ve run out of ideas looking at your creative item use for the throne. As others have already said, I love your posing. Gargantua, that dress is lovely and the character fits very nicely. I think Morgana might be a tough one to judge!
Kaylin88100ParticipantI like it!
So now the only major characters without entries are Guinevere, her son, and Uther. Keep those entries rolling in!
