Hey Harry, thanks for promoting the page!
No problem, Normally Advertising is not Allowed on the forum, however since all these characters are the direct result of a contest held on this community and all the characters involved in the poll were made by members of These forums with Heromachine I felt it appropriate to let the people here know about it!
KaldathKeymasterVery Nice!!!, The only thing I would change is the ears, she is a Half Elf so should have pointy ears.
Taleen is the Daughter of Talen Darkhope, a Famous Bard in the world she is from ( Ulear, a AD&D world created by a buddy of mine ) Somewhat taking after her farther’s line of work she became a Jester. She has adopted a child like persona which she shows most of the world, especially while performing, but is in reality a very smart and clear lady who can and will make her living as a pick pocket if need be. She eventually met and fell in love with Draven Dakar who himself was a blade bard and warrior, making his living entertaining the masses with displays of fancy blade work sword swallowing, and dagger throwing. After Adventuring together for a time, and experiencing both good times and bad the two got married, settled down and opened there own inn called the Black Rose Inn and started there own family.

Can i ask your permission to make this character in my method. I love the theme of this picture
Sure, have at it!
KaldathKeymasterTaylor I am going to have to delete your post with Blue Bird. I saw this late last night and have given it some thought before coming to this decision. On the one hand this is clearly an original character that you created, because while her name is that of an already existing Marvel character, she and that character are vastly different as not to cause any issues. However on the other hand with the clear reference to intellectual property held by marvel, namely the x-men and New Mutants, she creates a bit of a problem. I honestly was not sure if this broke our rules on copyright issues so I contacted Jeff Hebert the owner of Heromachine and this website ( Basically my boss in relation to this forum ) and asked him his opinion on the matter, While he isn’t 100% there is any copyright issues here the possibility of it being so does not make him feel comfortable and it is his legal backside that will be held to the fire if there is so we decided to remove it.
Now if you would like to re-post the character here, simply remove the x-men Logo from her costume, and change the Bio so she is no longer a character in the Marvel Universe and without any reference to other Marvel characters such as the X-Men. Make her 100% your own character from your own world and she is good to go.
KaldathKeymasterTaylorthecreator, I have moved your post to a new thread here in the Art Gallery Section of the forum. Feel Free to post your pictures here so long as they follow the forum rules . If you want a different title for this thread let me know and I will see what I can do to change it for you.

yeah, I can see why you’re concerned. Just let me know if I have to take it down.
Thank you for understanding. After contacting Jeff he and I have decided that the similarities are too striking to allow the image to remain. I am going to go ahead and delete the post, and once again thank you for your understanding. It was a very good bit of Heromachining however and you should be proud of the job you did in creating it!
KaldathKeymasterBlood Spider is really Nice, you did a great Job with him however I am a bit concerned about his similarity to a certain other spider themed Hero. I am not going to ask you to remove it at this time, though I will need to bring it to Jeff’s attention and get his ruling on the matter.

Another Cyber-Knight Character

A new creation at last!
I wanted to do something using similar techniques I used for Steel Bug a few pages back, so here’s a sci-fi suit of armour made with a few hundred layers (mostly gradient circles):
I did give her the Iron Spidey-style back claw-things, but then I decided that they cluttered the design up a bit.
Edit: Looking again, I just realised I forgot to put gradients on the neck bit. I’ll do that sometime later if I can be bothered.)
VERY NICE!!!!

Very nice costume design, and I like the way she’s stepping out of the frame.
Thanks! I was originally just going to do a normal background picture, but at the last minute decided to do the picture frame and when I did that thought it would look coolier to her her stepping out like that so I went with it!
