I will pass this information on to Jeff Hebert the creator and owner of Heromachine and this site. I am not sure what if anything he can do to fix the issue but at least he will be aware of it.

Are there any other Linux users on here experiencing this same issue ?

Oh add me to those who agree that AMS, Scatman, djuby, and a few others around here are true masters of Heromachine. I’d like to think that I was once a member of that group though I know I have gotten real lazy in my Heromachining within the last year or so. I don’t do many new characters anymore and when I do I don’t try any new techniques. Maybe one day I will get that creative spark back!

I have used this item before to make insect eyes out of:

Use two of them and masking to create the eyes for his mask and it will certainly add that insect quality you are looking for.

I am not a big fan of Fighting games anymore. When I was younger I loved Super Street Fighter II, Darkstalkers, etc but not so much anymore. I am currently getting my fix of SuperHero Video gaming via DC Universe Online, DC’s MMORPG available on Playstation 3 and on the PC, though PC and Playstation players can not play together as they each have independent servers.

Greetings, Welcome to the forum. You have a lot of great designs here that were very well made however I had to remove your character Union Jack. The Design was just to similar to the Marvel Character(s) of the same name. After looked at the rest of your posted characters so far nothing else stands out to me as being in violation of the rules of the forum ( Rules can be found “here” )
