KaldathKeymasterIce is just absolutely Wonderful! Great work!! Welcome to the forums and I hope to see more of your fine artwork.
KaldathKeymasterI’ll email Jeff now and ask him about it.
KaldathKeymasterok, I did not find anything overwhelmingly objectionable in this first chapter, if you keep things in a similar vain than we should be good.
KaldathKeymasterI haven’t read the entire story as of yet, but will do so shortly, If you can edit and keep things within PG-13 then we will have no problems … Voilence is fine but nothing to gory, mention of nudity is also fine, but again nothing explict or sexual in nature. Simple thing to keep in mind, if you wouldn’t want a 13 year old to read it, then don’t post it.
KaldathKeymasterok, I read your warning however the rules of this forum forbid adult material
Rule 4) Keep Things Family Friendly – Heromachine.com tries to maintain a more or less family friendly environment therefore no profanity is allowed, also we forbid the posting of any content that contains nudity or is of a pornographic nature.
I will give you time to copy your story in the event that you do not already have a saved copy before deleteing this.
KaldathKeymasternear the top of the forum, next to where it says how many unread posts you have, you will see 3 icon, the middle one is a mark all posts as read button. Click that and it will mark all your unread posts as read.
KaldathKeymasterI have emailed Jeff and let him know of your problem, that said, I have had the best experience with the forums using Google Chrome.
KaldathKeymasterI will bring this to Jeff’s attention, can you try another browser and see if you are having trouble with that also, or if it is just firefox?

Everything I know about the sol file is here http://www.heromachine.com/2011/06/22/meta-save-issues/

so, you know how, when you save a character in HM3, it auto-saves to a minifile somewhere on your computer, which it references whenever you load a character? well, my computer is dying, and i dont want to lose all that stuff. how do i find the file on my computer, and can i attach it to dropbox, or something?
I am not sure where those files are stored exactly I will ask Jeff about it, what system are you running? …. You can also go into each character, and get the text strings, paste it to word processor program, and save the characters that way anywhere you like. Then just copy the text string paste it back into the program at the load from text screen and there you have it.

Name: American Shield (Golden Age)
Real Name: James Ulysses Steel
Hero or Villain: Hero
Alliance(s): Guardians of Liberty
Power(s)/Ability(s): Shield that absorbs kinetic energy, the more energy it absorbs, the stronger it gets, high levels of combat training
Status: Deceased (old age)
The Original American Shield, James Steel was a worker at the Brooklyn Navy Yard where they were building a new warship with experimental hull plating. Nazi Saboteurs attempted to destroy the unfinished vessel and, in the ensuing explosions a piece of plating landed right in front of James, undoubtedly saving his life by absorbing and deflecting the blast and shrapnel. When James came to, he noted that the shard of metal was completely unscarred so, for reasons he couldn’t explain James smuggled the shard home. Having lost many friends and co-workers in the explosions, James, inspired by the recent stories of masked mystery men, decided to become one himself. The shard was roughly shaped like a shield and so he called himself the American Shield. That other Topic deleted per your request, you are likely going to have to re-upload those images.
KaldathKeymasterWelcome to the forums, Slate is wiped clean as far as I am concerned. So long as you follow our rules here then it doesn’t matter what happened elsewhere!
Here is a link to our forum rules if you haven’t already read them.
