JR19759KeymasterDude, have you seen your current reply count?
I think an exorcism is in order 😉

JR19759KeymasterWOH MAMA!!! That’s fricken awesome. Mama especially. I love the shading you did on her arms, they really do look like they’re made out of magma.
JR19759Keymaster@DiCicatriz- Thanks. I rejigged an old character by the same name and basically just changed his mask (and borrowed a certain someones technique for shading gold).
Oh and that Lili & Danni piece isn’t new btw. That’s why I said re-upload.
JR19759KeymasterThe best way I’ve found to do that is, once you’ve posted the reply (with the attachment), open the attachment in a new tab, then edit the post and paste the link to the tab into the Insert/ edit image box (the box on the top bar of the reply box that looks like a clip art mountain range) and then re-submit it. I know it’s long winded but it works.
Of course if you are on any other image sharing sites you can just fore-go the attachments and upload straight to the Insert image box.

JR19759KeymasterDude, have I ever told you you’re awesome?
Oh, I have, well I’m gonna keep doing so then, because it’s true.
I see you’ve been coming up with some… harebrained characters whilst you were away. (ba dum bum tish).
My advice on the character posting is, keep uploading as you are doing, then once you’ve submitted, open the attachment in a new tab, edit the post and paste the link to the attachment into the Insert/ edit image box in the tool bar for the reply box, much like Anarchangel said. That way you get it in full size in the post. It’s a pain and quite long winded but it works. It’s pretty much the same as posting for a contest really.
JR19759KeymasterAs far as I’m aware you can’t change the text size. I’ve had a quick look at the tools set and I can’t find anything that looks like that would be its function, sorry. Anyway, good to see ya back man.
JR19759Keymaster@Jeimuzu- When you get the chance, email me at jr19759@hotmail.co.uk. It doesn’t look like the forum PM system is going to be up and running any time soon and we’ve got a lot to catch up on, plus there’s that thing I mentioned to you a few weeks back.
Anyway, just thought I’d re-upload this with contest acceptable naming for no reason what so ever. I’m not preparing for anything at all, never, not me.

JR19759KeymasterDude, some serious shading skills you’ve got there. Dunno how I missed all of these first time round. Love the Eronoic Armour and Caller Of The Mother looks just as good. Keep up the good work man.
JR19759KeymasterI think what you did with the shading is fine. It’s very smooth and natural.
JR19759KeymasterI should probably check in on the forums first, because I said the exact same thing over on deviantart. *facepalm*
I’m still awesome though, right? *does sad puppy dog eyes* 😉
JR19759KeymasterHow did you add the layer of darkness can I just ask. Because it seems that it’s uneven between the foreground characters and the background scenery, as if the characters are lit by a different light source than the rest of the pic. What I would suggest is using the dark-> light gradient circle (rather than the light-> dark gradient circle used for shading/ highlighting) and remove the 2nd colour and place it so it covers the whole picture as the top layer. If you then experiment with the placement you can get some really interesting atmospherics that look natural on both background and foreground at the same time and still work with shown light sources, such as the light in the background.
Hope this is helpful. Keep up the good work.
