Love the pose and the costume is great too, but my favourite bit is the wing at the back. DOn’t know what it’s meant to be, if it’s meant to be a cape or some sort of energy effect, but it adds so much character to the… err, character… yeah.

Well, my original (Sun) playthrough team was Primarina, Alolan Raichu, Lurantis, Salazzle, Alolan Ninetails and Kommo-o, so I had literally no defence until the final trial. Kommo-o was my defensive ‘mon, but that’s playthrough meta for you. My Moon team was Decidueye, Alolan Muk, Mudsdale, Araquanid, Alolan Marowak and Alolan Sandslash, all of which are slow, apart from Decidueye, who had a speed reducing nature because FML, so… you know. I will say this, I ADORED my Alolan Ninetails. She wasn’t my team MVP (that was Pancakes the Raichu), but she was my favourite member, and that’s in the team that has 5 of my top 10 favourite Gen 7 Pokemon in it.

As for there not being any Poison/ Ground types… maybe not in Alola, but I think Nidoking and Nidoqueen might want to have a word with you about that statement.

The only problem I see is that you have a horrible Poison Type weakness. You might want to consider a Steel type to replace one of your Fairy Types. Maybe Sandslash over the Ninetales?

I could spend a very very long time talking about everything that I love about that picture. But I can probably shorten it to one sentence: Everything about that picture is beyond description.

You know, when I saw that you’d posted something, I had this whole thing prepared like I did with Nug about you being back and you not being allowed to leave again. But then I get to the page and see that you’ve posted that and there doesn’t seem to be a point anymore. In fact, there doesn’t seem to be a point in heromachining anymore because nothing anyone does is going to be as good as that. Like legitimately, you’ve done some stuff that doesn’t look like heromachine, but I refuse to believe that actually is heromachine. You just hand-drew it and made sure to include some sketches of some of the items didn’t you. Admit it.

 

 

Anyway, I now feel really sad that I tried a shading technique similar to this with my last picture and was really proud of it and you come back and are immediately 8 trillion times better. Oh and BTW I’ve just put this picture in the HOF.

 

EDIT: Oh yeah and congrats on graduating. Shame you’re not gonna be able to use your degree because you’re banned from leaving here now.

You know, I think that might just be the best picture you’ve ever done dude, and that’s saying something. BUB looks incredibly well put together pose-wise and I love the way you’ve done his face and chest. In Livewyre’s original pic he looked a bit cartoonish, but you’ve made him properly intimidating. And again with your female characters, you’re so good with imbuing them with character and attitude. Oh and I hate the fact that you can make shading on hands look that good and I can’t.
