I think I ruined my ears getting inspiration for this next one, but it was so worth it a) because I got to listen to some awesome music through my awesome headphones (i’m a music tech guy so I have £200 mixing headphones, they’re amazing) and b) it was nice to just do something a bit different. I’m sure one person might get the references in the picture, but this will probably go below the radar for most people.

That looks awesome. I’d try to single out a favourite bit, but it’s very hard, maybe the face, but then the pose is great too, and so is the costume, then you’ve got the colouring/ shading. I can’t decide!

Anyway. This is another one you might see me coming back to. I think this has potential. At the moment it’s a bit basic.

And here’s take three. I managed to wrangle a bit of emotion out of it, none of the eyes or mouths we have in the machine are very good for expressing sadness or pain, so it’s not perfect yet, I’m still experimenting. I’m not going to stop until I’m fully happy with this and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. This might take a while.

Which tattoo did you use for the facial tattoo, cause I don’t recognise it and I’ve pretty much memorised 2 of those sets already (tribal and animals).

I had another go at My Heart Burns, changed a few bits. Still not entirely happy with it, but then again my inspiration was a computer drawn picture by a proper artist, so there’s no way I could get the shading, posing or emotion to come through in the same way, especially not with what little talent I have. I cannot do tears on heromachine and it’s so annoying, and my expressions suck as well. And I can’t convey emotion at all.

I feel like every time I’ve been to this thread within the last few months my head has either melted or exploded. Could you stop being so awesome please because it’s very hard to find a new head every other week and the clean up is horrible.
