JR19759KeymasterThanks dude. HoF would be nice, but it’s not going to happen. I don’t get nominated ever
Anyway, another one for y’all, this time only featuring Lili. One of the things I had for her back when I first created these two is that she was a gamer, so I decided to make a pic of that.
“Lili, I need you to take the trash out sometime this century!”
“Sorry babe, I’m busy.”
“You’re playing Mario Kart. How is that busy?”
“It just is. Do we have any nachos by the way?”
“I hate you sometimes.”
“Love you too babe.”True story (if you substitute Mario Kart for Pokemon and taking out the trash for… well just about anything really. Including taking out the trash I suppose).
JR19759KeymasterCongrats dude. Hope everything went well.
JR19759Keymaster@Nug: You see that gutter over there? You might want to go and take your mind out of it
I took all the ideas onboard and this is the result. I must say I am very proud of this one. It’s one of those rare occasions where the finished product came out better than I’d envisioned. Once again I have to thank RobM for the pose.
I don’t know why but I really love doing pieces of Lili and Danni. I mean considering they were originally just throw-away characters I did in the middle of last summer whilst I was just madly hero machining to get away from all the stuff that had happened to me and my family at the time, I just sort of fell in love with them as characters, especially after I wrote out personality profiles for them. So you might be seeing more of these two in the future.
JR19759KeymasterI’m liking those laser claws, they look pretty damn sweet.
JR19759KeymasterMachine (What else was I meant to say?)
JR19759KeymasterI’ll add myself to the list of people who love Daft. I must single out your shading here, especially on the mask, the highlighting really offsets against the underlying colour and the shading, giving it an actual fabric look which is quite magnificent. I also like the slight twist you’ve given to the torso, it really gives the pose life. Your work has really become extremely high quality lately, keep it up.
JR19759KeymasterThanks guys.
Now, I’m in two minds about posting this, as it’s not finished yet and I don’t like posting w.i.p’s, but I need some opinions. I’m pretty happy with the centre of this picture, the two characters and the background (heck, I’m reeeeeeeally happy with the centre of this picture), but the peripheries I’m not too sure what to do with. It’s mostly a case of what colours should I do, which patterns will work, that sort of thing. Basically anything white is fair game for suggestions. I’m trying to go for a modern holiday resort room sort of look, so I was thinking maybe white/ light cream walls and a light wood panelled floor, but that might be a bit bland? I dunno, what do you guys think.
And I have to give huge thanks to RobM for the poses here, I was struggling badly. I cannot pose for anything (which is ironic considering the current CDC I’m gonna be judging).
JR19759KeymasterI do think you might just be catching up with DiCicatriz in the ranks of my favourite heromachinist. Everything you do is utterly astounding.
JR19759Keymaster@RobM- Well, that works. That’s pretty immersive. Thanks dude.

JR19759KeymasterYou create your own items the same way you create your own poses, trial and error mixing and matching pre made items. There’s no way for you to input your own drawn items into heromachine unless you win one of the CDC’s and get dblade to draw your item. Sorry.
JR19759KeymasterOk guys, here’s one for you. I’ve been trying to replicate this pose (turned 90 degrees so the characters are standing) for my two characters Lili and Danni and there’s one bit that I’m struggling with.
Now I’m pretty sure I can get the body positions down, they just need a few tweaks, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the heads/ faces to work. Any ideas?
p.s. if the image is too big, right click- open in new tab is the way forward…..
Edit- Actually, I’m struggling with all of it now. Whatever I try it just doesn’t seem to want to come together properly. So any help with the entire pose construction would be greatly appreciated, because other wise I’m gonna go crazy.
