I am very sorry I couldn’t spend more time on this one. I won’t have any more time to work on it, so here it is.

“Babyface,” as it happens, translates badly into common alien languages. To many spacefaring races, it can only mean ‘face that resembles fresh egg and egg-gel deposit without nesting material or evidence of hatching.’ Here, ‘Babyface MulDoon’ is charging Tommy.

The character of Mirage, by CDC std, was a nightmare projector. Spiders are a common phobia, and she was humanoid but alien. I figure occasionally she bashes somebody with a club right through what they see.
Here she is shown about to cave in the skull of someone frozen in fear.

*On a side note, I essentially have to sell my idea to my loved ones before they have sympathy (or interest) enough to help me have time to work on entries in contests. Normally I only concoct the backstory on completion. I might still be entering fewer contests for a while, as IRL is exploding yet again.

This contest seems to be doing badly. I haven’t been available, and it’s foundered. [twiddles three tentacles for a moment]

THIS time, I’ll ask for the same three tails, but I want a coin on the ‘heads’ side. That is to say, at least a profile / front-face / angled headshot on a coin with indicators of coin value and who the pictured schmuck is. If you do not choose modern American English, you must provide a translation along with any backstory you wish to include. I like backstories. Any picture you make up, you should be able to pretend you know what to say about it.

Because I want to see a coin’s side that is both heads and tails! Do not depict actual size, please. Take up my screen and ONLY my screen.

Claws within claws are an interesting mutation. (Brown-out prevented me actually submitting on time. Familial issues prevented me dealing with all the thick outlines as well as I could.

Submitted, though work in progress–pleasantly surprised to receive honorable mention. Original intent was to have upper right wing partly folded to show matte black back. I thought that perhaps he could glide face up during night missions for short flights.

I’m gonna have to disagree with Suleman over Veloz’s hand. You want the spread back of the hand squinched a bit and lopped off in a curve from pointer knuckle to wrist (mostly just the thumb) and dome four heads behind it. Two for knuckles, one for part of the pointer finger, and one to correct the rounding of the arched hand. All the rest of the hand would be hidden behind the roof, right?

We also probably want ‘Canopy’ and ‘Ripple’ and probably ‘Lattice’ unfiltered text in shared Backgrounds. Good stuff.

Yeah–I was wondering whether that was armor over the suit or a two-toned suit. Don’t hesitate to subdivide. If you need to mask on six pieces you just need six identical and transparent or buried copies to mask to. I probably would have blued the area and masked on the armor seams separately, but RobM’s suggestion might be better in this case.

Cade’s more of a project atoner, if I guess correctly. At only two xforms a day, he’d basically clean up oil spills by Lovecraftian ingestion or ram ice floes to a desirable shape for rescue / prevention / temporary damming. That’s the power set to have for atoning drudgery. It’d be neat to see a pic of him shoring up a lighthouse?
