I have to say that I’ve always preferred names of underwater places to be converted to whale song rather than English from their original languages. Much less is lost in translation. That would be my suggestion for an alternate to Atlantis. You could transliterate it as [MMOORRRRyuuuuuuUUHHHmmmmm] (that’s ‘the,’ but who’s gonna know, right?)

As for Polarity, since he flies, it would be neat if he had a name based on some aspect of Antarctica, like ‘Byrd,’ and could only be at full strength if he faced parallel to latitude lines facing west. His poles, after all, should be aligned, right? You could call him Ferrous Bluer?

Yikes. We’re going BACK to the items posted in post #153284 to be due 2/14/19 noon. To be judged by 8pm (EST) same day. 1 extra point to be awarded for referencing an unseen sewer monster. 1/2 extra point to be awarded for sappy references to Valentine’s Day.

Uhh? There are dozens of partial tutorials in the forums here for various techniques. I think I saw some references to youtube tutorials as well.

Ditch or shorten that loincloth. THEN think about the cape. I like the cape, but that loincloth needs to end above knee somewhere.

Okay! I have to go away for a long weekend–will be unable to get on the net. I nominate Funkmachine to judge. I will not be available to vote on who’s judging, as I’ll be absent. All voters should be entrants in this round. If it falls to me, I should be able to judge on Tuesday.

Maaz, if he can’t be reached / cajoled into judging, should be replaced by Tuesday, 11/20/18 imho. I’ve already posted a message to his thread–perhaps a moderator knows his e-mail? I leave it to the rest of the entrants to decide from there by majority vote.

Just out of curiosity, can you guys see the items in LCM’s work? I wonder if it’s posted here by mistake.
