HellstrommeMemberNeferteri the hekai (sorcerer), member of the Desert Scorpions, enchanting her sword, while the Dread Skull is preparing for destruction.
(Only female PC in our Egyptian Adventures campaign)
HellstrommeMemberBack to business: Luna Shadow, witchling rake (a bard-like class, but with firearms instead of spells) and shadowsmith, wearing her Vest of Eyes and Hat of Nondetection, holding a hex pistol and enchanting her rapier with shadow magic.
(The only female PC in our Northern Crown campaign)
HellstrommeMemberMartin Taylor, ‘syker and lawman, veteran of the Faraway Wars, now the sheriff of Near Wichita.
(Retired PC in our Hell on Earth campaign)
HellstrommeMemberA simpler design, because I wanted to toy with items here:
Kobad ben-Ormizd al-Zarish, noble and inquisitor of Qadira
(PC in our Pathfinder campaign)
HellstrommeMemberThe partner of Constable Taylor, the street detective Dennis Watson (in hindsight, the name may not be fully coinciental ). Armed with only a non-lethal dart gun, he is a promising student of both martial arts and the occult arts of ancient Lemuria.
(PC in our Etherscope campaign)
HellstrommeMemberThe last memorable enemy, and last Dragonstar character for the time: Zarina, warmage and assassin from a medieval-Arabic world. Holding a keenblade knife, a laser pistol and an assault blaster, her real specialties are energy spells.
HellstrommeMemberSecond, the Lizardman: Xirh Redclaw, evil soulborn from a Celtic-type world and servant of the evil dragon Houses. A necrocarnum circlet above his head and a sonic enhancer at his throat, he wears boots made of human skin, and wields a magical axe and a hellfire revolver.
HellstrommeMemberThe gang’s favorite enemies: first, the Dwarf hexblade and space pirate, Drangor the Blade. Born on a wild Mongolian planet ruled by the evil red dragons, he captains the corsair ship Firefang. Armed (to the fang ) with a magical falchion, a blaster pistol, and a multishot rocket launcher that folds back into an astral storage hole.
(in hindsight, the body contraction trick would have worked better, had the arms been in a vertical position)
HellstrommeMemberThe third ally: Keshtra Longhunter, a dragonfire adept and royal marshal of the Brass sector. Born on a Mesopotamia/Assyria type planet. The wings are created by one of her sorcerous invocations. Paired railgun pistols and protective forearms plates add to her magic.
(leg positioning is awfully hard, will not be my favorite pastime, I think
HellstrommeMemberSecond, the Captain Winthorpe, swashbuckler and free trader from the renessaince world Casenore (Silver sector). Friendly starship captain and interplanetary merchant. Armed with a keenblade sabre, blaster carbine, and a mentally controlled spy drone.
HellstrommeMemberMost important allies of the crew of the Starglitter.
First, Elaenna Siannodel, a high- level druid in His Draconic Majesties’ secret service. Our main supplier of quests Said to come from a Polynesian-based world in the Bronze Sector, but she puts a little more clothes on for business: an armored vest with variable laser protection, a techno-magical sensor headset, an extradimensional storage armband, plus a mechanical runebow in her hands and her dragonbane sword is levitating behind her shoulder.
HellstrommeMemberFourth and last party member, Ome Coatl, our pilot from the primitive, Precolumbian world of Savell, in the outer rim of Copper sector. Regardless of his origins, he quickly adapted to life in space. Wearing an armored flight suit, he is equipped only with a simple blaster pistol and a holographic computer.
On the weekend: allies & enemies
HellstrommeMemberThanks. The third: Ashlynn Bovadragana, psychic warrior from Anarth, a planet based on India. Coming from under the rule of the evil black dragons, she can be quite ruthless when a just cause needs it. Here, just after having eviscerated some annoying bad guy with Vampiric Claws, she is shown with her screamer pistol and magical scimitar, magical armbands, armored tunic and antigravitic leg bracers.
HellstrommeMemberSecond, Tret Hafnu, the somewhat carefree conjurer wizard from the Egyptian-based world of Faran in the Brass sector. Equipped with techno-wizard arcane energy converters, extradimensional storage device and energy shield projectors.
HellstrommeMemberThe space-fantasy game Dragonstar have so much potential to create interesting portraits (especially after we decided that different planets should be based on different historical cultures) that I think it will be worth putting the whole party into pictures:
First, Sir Morn Dechal, paladin and gunslinger from the “medieval European” world of Kalban 47, under the rule of the silver dragons. Captain of the Elven space yacht Starglitter, free agent for the Good Draconic Houses of the Empire. Depicted in his airborne combat armor, magical laser pistols and spellware circuits around his left eye.
(I was sure that setting the arms into position would be the most difficult part, but looks like I dont know how to put the belt and scabbard together relistically )
