MaazParticipantSolarspike is an enigma to everyone. If Sinister Sam knows anything about him- as he probably does- he’s not talking. Capable to storing solar energy in his body to charge the spikes on his body and throwing them like throwing knives. He is also a sadistic maniac who enjoys pain- both inflicted and felt. Sinister Sam is fond of his evil ways, and loves to disgust and intimidate superheroes using Solarspike.
MaazParticipantA normal crocodile pet-named Toothy was a subject to an experiment to give humanoid aspects to animals. He gained mostly humanoid attributes, while he was greatly strengthened as well. He escaped and found refuge in the sewers. His mind developed slowly, becoming more and more humanoid. When Sinister Sam found him and offered him an intellectual boost, and he agreed. He now has the same cognitive abilities as the average man. He has been dubbed the Gatorman.
MaazParticipantWow, original… and Sir Cheeks is so cute…
MaazParticipantEdwin Brown was rich. Then he was thrown out of business when he was betrayed by his friend Adrian Kane, who took over the company. He also sent a few ‘boys’ to ‘take out’ Edwin. Then cornered him on a cliff next to a forest, but he jumped. He woke in the forest, surrounded by wolves, unable to move thanks to broken bones. As they were about to pounce, Edwin eyes turned red, and so did the wolves’- and they bowed to him. Exploring his abilities to control wolves, he learned he could only control wolves and certain breeds of dogs. He also became an excellent hunter and grew much stronger. He eventually hunted down his careless former-friend, Adrian Kane, and set his wolves on him. He thought about reclaiming his industries, but instantly realized he was not the man he once was, and returned to the jungle. When a careless superhero burned the forest down, he was angered and tried to hunt him, but he no longer had any connections, or his former social ease. Sinister Sam heard of him, and gave him the chance to slay super human’s like the one who burned his forest. He was happy to do so. He now goes by Alpha, as he is the ‘alpha’ of his ‘pack’.
MaazParticipantAdeyemi Sillah was born somewhere in Africa. Like most mutants, he was scorned and feared among the people. His demonic claws made him even more feared. When his ‘death touch’ manifested, he took revenge on those who had ever scorned him, and killed them with by touching them alone. He was then, at a later date, found working as a bouncer in the secret mutant inn called Three Outcasts. When Sininster Sam visited the inn, he was impressed by the man’s fierce strength and ‘death touch’. When he attempted to recruit him, Adeyemi bluntly refused. When Sinister Sam insisted, Adeyemi decided to get violent. Surprisingly, Sinister Sam was not affected by Adeyemi’s death touch. The battle was fought, but Adeyemi was easily defeated despite his strength. Impressed, he agreed to Sinister Sam’s offer. He is sent out on tasks where someone MUST die. He is simply called after his foremost power- Deathtouch.
MaazParticipantWow, very amazing work. Those hair…. wow. And those tattoos are very nice, too.
MaazParticipantWell, the last enemies of the Guardians are the super powered villains collectively called the Crest.
First, this is Thunder Jack, real name Jack Benjamin. He was a member of a street gang called the Skullsaws. They were in a gang war with Sininister Sam’s gang, the Dark Fists. After a raid on a Skullsaw safehouse, the Dark Fists killed everyone but Jack. They were going to torture him to reveal locations of other safehouses, but Sinister Sam had other ideas. Jack was horribly injured, his legs butchered off and hands cut off. He was given the option of joining Sinister Sam or die. He decided to join. His limbs were replaced with mechanical parts, his head encased in a helmet that would will him if he ever turned on Sinister Sam. His “Electroguns” can shoot electric bolts and be used as a tazer. His legs meanwhile can help him run at amazing speeds and jump to amazing heights. Then he found at butchered every member of the Skullsaws he found, evetually going and killing the Skullsaw mob boss Nigel Crane. When Sinister Sam decided to establish the Crest, he was the first member to join along with his boss.
MaazParticipantThe planet of Bun Ja Linque was a desert planet, home to many tribes. The beings of this world battled for water, but still the world continued to thrive. Then there was the Cosmic Storm. The storm brought an alien being from the last galaxy it had visited, the ‘demon’ Dem Lann. Though the planet survived, it’s beings adapting to their new conditions, the being, a liquid monster, seeped into the cracks of the world. Eventually, it reached the planet’s core. Replenishing it’s power, the monster ripped out of the planet’s crust, with one intent- to feed.
MaazParticipantHello AGAIN, people! So… yeah, I only got 2 entries. So I’m going to choose one of them. Duh.
Well, let’s compare the two pieces, aye? Both of you guys used the skull shoulder as a female top… which frankly took me by surprise. Both of you guys, come to think of it, made smokin’ hot chicks. Keric used the big rocky thing as, well, a big rocky thing. Meanwhile, Herr D managed to make a big rocky thing took appetizing in his cake or what ever that is. And while Keric’s piece had the fanged moths used very nicely as accesories (belt and necklace), I was amazed by Herr D’s very unique takes on the fangs, on both the whipped cream (yum!) and the fork.
I think all of the Machiners around can make stunning pics. But for me, the beauty of this contest is that creativity is more important than any fancy finishing. While both were very nice pieces, I consider Herr D to have pulled the creaivity bit just a slight morsel better. It was an expressive work of art and it just won you this round. Goodjob, choose yer parts, and think this as a bribe for making me win next time *Put away the pitchforks and torches, people; I was joking*
MaazParticipantWow, love Golem. HE has really nice, solid look about him, and love how… ROCKY he feels.
MaazParticipantI think it’s better in Purple- the White makes him too bright, and the contrast with Purple is much better.
MaazParticipantFrom what I’m seeing here, I’m guessing you’re more of a DC fan? And I love Fallout, that is a very simple but effecive design. And Blue Owl looks awfully familiar…
MaazParticipantAw man, you made be blush! Seriously, that was the best comment anyone ever gave me!
Aright, headsup, this one will be cool. I hope.
He is made in tribute to two of my favourite characters from DC and Marvel respectively, Joker and Deadpool.David King was born to former boxer and current drug adict John ‘Gold’ King, in Houston, Texas. His father was also a drunk, and more than a little abusive. Even a normal kid would have had problems- but it was hell for David. The result of John’s second failed marriage, he was a mutant. He had no significant powers- his skin was charcoal black, and he had no hair. His eyes were a glowing red. Due to his freakish appearence, he seldom stepped out of his house, which was no comfort as his father’s beating did the trick. Finally, one day at the age of 16, he grabbed his fathers hand as the later raised it to smack him, and then suffocated his drug-weakened father to death with his bare hands. He then dissapeared from all records.
He reappeared in Los Angelas working as a solo criminal. Gone was meek little David King. Now was the man known as Headhunter. The death of his father had driven him insane, and the laughing man became a demon in the eyes of others. His insanity also allowed him to break the fourth wall, so he has been known to yell phrases such as, “Damn that idiot, didn’t even give me some cool powers!” and “Come on Heromachiners! Tell him what an awesome character I am so he can do more work on me, aye?”.
The man killed for fun. He would garrote a man while singing Psycho Killer or slice his neck while using his eyes as a mirror to straighten his mask. His antics drew attention of the Guardians who decided to take him out. He was an elusive target, though. And when they did find him, they were in for a slight surprise. He had a love for weapons.
Gravely injuring Inferna with his Dragunov rifle and knocking unconcious Mammoth with several grenades, he also sent Deadbug to the ground by ripping his wings with submachine gun fire. He also nearly bested Spider in a katana vs stun baton match, until Peacemaker showed up and defeated him.
He was captured, but during his ride to jail, he pulled a Houdini act and escaped.
He eventually reappeared in NY and went on a killing spree to draw out the Guardians. Instead a few teenaged heroes showed up. Angry, he killed all of them with ease. When the Guardians did show up, they had to work hard to subdue the suddenly stronger Headhunter. After they assumed him to be dead after a combined blast of Peacemaker’s optic beams and Inferna’s heat blade, he could still be seen alive and grinning in a sewer below the explosion.
MaazParticipantThanks! Ugh… so azy… gonna add more villains later…. now… TO BED!!!
MaazParticipantI like that guy! I think it has something to do with all the pockets… or the fact that I’m a Deadpool fan and those pockets remind me of him. It’s all in the pockets…
Just kidding. Alot of great stuff going on in that pic. Those badass looking custom guns. That creepy-as-hell-glowing-eyes glare. The simple, silent pose. I would say the zypping, but you always have stunning shading, so it’s like a fact of life. The sun is yellow, water is H2O and ams has epic zypping skills. And don’t forget the pockets. -
