MaazParticipantPhew. Nearly had me there.
After nearly half an hour of fruitless experimentation, I finally found a way to use those items in a totally different way. And so I smugly present:
The Warrior of Sixteen Souls, Zu’Valun. A warrior created when sixteen warriors sacrificed themselves to the Elder Dragon in order to create the ultimate guardian of the Empire of Floating Roses, and the ultimate enemy of the Sta’Ra Dynasty.
MaazParticipantAaaaand… Only one entry. Really? I actually managed to outsmart you folk with my confusing choices?
Still got to say, that one, single entry by Herr made me laugh. That darned wierd expression of surprise on an equally darned wierd face was enough to make me laugh before I could make sense of anything else. Stupendously creepy-ish funny face aside, the use of the items was quite, quite unique. Never would I have thought to construct a mask out of mouth items, but now… hm. That could prove useful.
So Herr D, excellent piece, really late happy halloween, and you are now allowed to throw the most fiendishly tricky combinations of mismatching items right at my smug face (Please try to miss). Congrats!
MaazParticipantSo here is my first guy. High fantasy content alert.
A infamous privateer named Barthalos, whose ship sails the Dread Seas to wreck the ships that carry supplies to the Red Army that bothers the Throne. He carries a rapier called Huatan, forged in the heart of the ancient Elder Court itself. During a particularly low point in his youth, he was addicted to a drug called Burkopp. Since he had already become penniless, he decided to gamble. As he had nothing to give, he placed his eye on the wager. Losing, he lost his eye as well. He saw this as a a chance to “become straight” and became a part of a merchant crew. A few years later, though, he raised mutiny and declared the ship, White Wind, as a pirate ship. During the great pirate hunt, he saved himself by pledging allegience to the Throne.
MaazParticipantOk, sorry for not seeing this sooner, but really awesome! Specially liked how you used those shoulder items as guantlets. Sweet work.
MaazParticipantOuch, sorry for the long wait.
Thanks, Herr D and Keric. Glad ya liked my mercenary-spider-alien-thingy.
So, brace yourself for the demonic chaos and randomness of my strange mind:
Left to right, these are situated in:
ShoulderRight , Tech
Mouth , Standard
FootRight , MaleStandard
MaazParticipantHelionicus is a mechanical warrior created to defeat various villains. He is activated at crucial times in earth shattering battles.
MaazParticipantVery nice. I think the best part about your creations is how well posed they are. You managed to capture the role of an insane psychopath very nicely there. And I agree, that background really brings out his brighter form.
Here is another lil’ creation of mine, Mystic. Your classic immortal sorceror who is destinned to aid the worthy. Placing no limitations other than you keep the color scheme, and the face hidden.
Cheers!
MaazParticipantMind trying this one out?
Solarspike is an enigma. Capable of storing solar energy to charge the spikes on his body and throwing them like throwing knives. He is also a sadistic maniac who enjoys pain- both inflicted and felt.
MaazParticipantUnless it happens to be the Death of Mice. Then it will ignore humans, and collect the souls of dead rodents.
MaazParticipantThe Zakhur’Ann are a race of nomadic beings that are infamous for their mercenary dealings. Fast and strong, they are warriors to reckon with… or if one wishes to live, warriors to avoid.
MaazParticipantVery nice start. Love the chaotic creativity of your creations.
MaazParticipantSkyhawk is a mysterious vigilante who soars in the night, stomping all crime wherever he is.
MaazParticipantA group pic of the Crest. First one I ever made!
MaazParticipantHere is the leader of the Crest, Sinister Sam himself.
An orphan from NY, Samuel Slade was a surprisingly charismatic individual. An accomplished con-man, he earned the nickname of Lucky Sam. His luck ran out though, when he tried to bamboozle the disguised demon Rylann Quinthos. Rylann was amused by the boy, and claimed, “Well well, young pup, well well. Looks like you like to fool people, hm? But ’tis you who was fooled by my illusions! But you amuse me, man child… and so I’ll give you a gift…” Touching the boy’s forehead with his thumbs, he made him his avatar. As Rylann was one of the strongest Demon of Baleen Tha Jun (The Old City), this meant Samuel became amazingly strong, later capable to match power-houses such as Mammoth and Silverstar. He also became nearly invincible, with skin that couldn’t be even scratched by the greatest weapons. He was also unable to die, being immortal. He became the crimelord of the gang Dark Fists, and his amazingly immoral acts earned him the name of ‘Sinister Sam’. He created the Crest after being annoyed by the Guardians and other heroes one time too much.
MaazParticipantLove how you made the monster. I hate it when people call HIM Frankestine and imagine him with an angular head, bolts in his neck and green skin. I think this is perhaps the best take on him I’ve seen yet…
