Can I also say that I don’t quite understand the contest structure? When I read “Hero of the Month…” I think of heroes posted within that month. The February contest seemed to be “Hero of the first fortnight in February” – the poll started on the 15th!

Banshee is great. Kirby-esque, even. I know you’ve given him a Greek mythology setting (which is cool) but my mental picture is him vs the Fantastic Four!

Underwater? No… that’s supposed to be a twilight sky. (The speckling effect comes from a Background/Sky piece). It does look watery, true… (wanders off to work on edit 125 with particular reference to skies…)

#4 – Capt. ‘arry Wallace.
Does Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart mean anything to you? This character is a modern update: following Doctor Who around the galaxy, dealing with alien menaces with effortless upper-class cool. “Fellow with the wings, five rounds rapid…”

#3 – Shadowing
He’d be at the top of the list if his belt wasn’t so straight (and that’s an HM problem, not yours).

#2 – Raina
She’s great – her 3D abs are especially epic.

#1 – Cyborg Hiatus
Great characterisation. It looks so fed up!

Using a different browser (Firefox or Chrome) may help with this. I find that they make the links in the HM window “unclickable”, although the banner ads/front page ads still work fine.

Other than that, you’ll just have to remember to save the text files for your characters. It’s always a good idea as all sorts of things – Flash updates, drive cleaners, etc – can wipe away all your hard work.
