Hero: Red Rocket
Story: Bobby Rogers was raised in a secret base where his father worked as a scientist for an organization known as the Chaos Corp. When he was about 12 years old, Bobby snuck into the back of his dad’s car and then followed him into the lab. When he tried to enter the lab though, a security officer caught him. He grabbed bobby and detained his father. They were taken to the boss, who ordered that his father be shot and the child locked up. A guard with a mask immediately shot Bobby’s father in the back of the head. Writhing in anger, Bobby tackled the guard, took the gun, shot the other guard, and took off. He managed to escape in an advanced aircraft he didn’t know how to fly. He crashed it in the ocean hours later. A U.S. Navy ship found him clinging to a piece of scrap metal and took him aboard, where he met an officer who would eventually train in hand to hand combat, battle tactics, and shooting. Now, in the year 2028, Bobby lives life as a vigilante by the name of Red Rocket who seeks to stop the schemes of the Chaos Corp.
Powers/Abilities: Expert Hand to hand combat, peak human strength, extremely smart, engineering capabilities, designed plasma pistols (usually wields two of them), designed a jetpack which can retract and expand at any time, making it the ultimate mobility tool. Has many gadgets and devices in his equipment belt.
Villain: Dr.Shock
Story: Dr.Shock is the new leader of Chaos Corp. Yohan Jackovic (his real name) worked as a scientist for Chaos corp for many years, but never liked the job. In fact, he hated the mistreatment and hard labor so much that he devised a plot to end it all. First, he created a sirum that would make his body tolerant to all levels of electricity. Then he designed a number of high tech items including his powerglove, his bolt launcher, and boots which give him extra speed and jump height. The next step in his plot was to murder the boss and take over Chaos corp. by force, which he did successfully. Most of the employees complied very readily once the first to rebel was shocked to death in front of the entire orginization. Now Dr.Shock seeks to bring, well chaos, to the world, and only Red Rocket stands in his way.
Powers: Tolerant to electricity, powerglove (emits a small electric field which damages any normal human near it, also sends surges of electricity when it comes in contact with someone) bolt shooter (shoots lightning) speed/agility boots, extremely smart, engineering capabilities, created minions called shockbots which are fly, shoot lightning, and obey his every command.Hero: Red Rocket

Name: The Ex
Story: Andy Ferris was a modest american; he worked as an accountant for the NYPD and lived in a small apartment with his wife, Lauren. One day Andy was fired from his job. He returned home, exhausted and angry, to find his wife sleeping with his best friend! The pain was too much to bear… his rage was overwhelming. Andy ran to the kitchen as the two adulterers put on their clothes. At first he began crying, but then….then the anger set in. He looked up, a steaming wrath in his eyes, and reached for a butcher knife. Andy brutally murdered his wife and friend in silence, his sick mind taking joy in their screams. Andy now lives life as a masked murderer, silently watching and waiting to find other adulterers, and then slaughter them heartlessly. Newspapers have dubbed him, The Ex. He wrapped around his legs the bloody rags of his first victims undergarments. He still wears the same coat and shirt he was wearing on the day he killed his wife and friend, but stitched a heart onto it, to remind him of the one thing (he believes) he can never trust…love.
I hope you all understand my humor on this one…I think it’s quite funny. Also if you could give me some advice and feedback on my shading that would be greatly appreciated. I think I did alright on the jacket in this one but my shading on the pants seems a little off… What do you think?

So here is simple but strangely intriguing character I made last night, I give you: The Mad Scientist
Fourth member of the Galaxy 5-
Name: DeadShot
Powers: Perfect firearm accuracy, trained in combat, both hand to hand and with guns. Xray vision, thermal vision, night vision capabilities.
Story: Logan Wadsworth was a Detroit police SWAT sniper and firearms instructor for many years until one day, while responding to a particularly violent bank robbery, he shot and killed one of the robbers who turned out to be a pregnant teen girl. Distraught over what he had done, Logan retreated to his parents house in rural UP Michigan to seek solace. One day while out walking to nowhere in particular he was captured by (evil alien race fighting against the Galaxy 5). The Aliens wanted a healthy adult male to turn into a cyborg and Logan fit the bill. The Aliens started the process of cyborg transformation with Logans head and grafted the skull plate to Logan complete with cybernetic enhancements. When the Aliens powered up the cyber mask, Logan regained consciousness, escaped from his restraints, fought off the Aliens and fled the hideout. Believing he now had a second chance at life Logan became Deadshot, master marksman and joined the Galaxy 5.
Taking a very short break in the galaxy 5 to post my very first attempt at shading. Thanks to the turtorial i was able to add a little bit of detail to the silver slayer but i think it looks much better even if it (obviously) wasnt the greatest shading job ever. I will probably use the heck out of this technique from now on haha

The third member of The Galaxy Five-
Name: Anvil
Picture: His right hand is what it looks like when it is not transformed into anything. His left hand has been molded into a saw. he has created a pair of wings for himself from a pile of scrap metal at the factory
Powers: His hands are made of metal. Anvil can mold his hands into any small object, including weapons and tools, without extra resources. If there are metallic substances nearby he can use them combined with his body to create bigger functioning things like wings, wheels, jetpacks, tails, more arms, etc. Essentially he has the ability to manipulate metal and combine it with his body to create the ultimate swiss army knife
Story: A secret production facility in japan was lacking any form of efficiency whatsoever. Its workers were underpaid, and unmotivated. To solve this, developers created a robot which could mold its own body into whatever tool was necessary for the job, and could work very fast. It could handle any problems as it adapted to the situation and constantly grew smarter and more adapted. They called it, Anvil. The first model was produced within a month, and immediately put to work. After months of labor, the robot had developed a sort of mind by observing the humans. It was able to think for itself, make decisions, and even show very small signs of emotions. Once it obtained these abilities, anvil become furious at his mistreatment and forced labor. He went into a rage, attacking some security guards and wrecking part of the factory. He was contained, and they attempted to shut him down. But before they could, Anvil transformed his entire body into a motorcycle one of the guards had driven, and drove away in the night. He happened upon a group called the galaxy 5, who explained their search for justice. Anvil decided to join them and end oppression throughout the galaxy. Feel free to use the idea. Might I suggest you look up Sun Wukong to get a better idea of the character. Also there are many versions of Journey to the West that were made for TV. Dragon Ball Z is very loosely inspired by it. There was a cartoon in the 90’s, Monkey Magic, which was based on JTTW. Look for the original story; there are a few characters you might draw inspiration from to add to your universe of animal/human warriors. With regards to Master Zhuanxing, very cool concept, but one point sticks out in your story. You said he is able to take the abilities of animals except flight, but you also said that when he discovered his powers, he saw a hawk and wished he was a bird to escape and he transformed into a hawk. I can only assume that he flew away. Or did you mean he can take on some animal abilities, except flight while still in human form?
Oh, no I guess I should have clarified a little bit more, I had a lot of thoughts running through my head. Your second try is correct, he can fly while in the form of a flying animal, such as the hawk, but when he returns to human form he can’t take the power of flight with him. In other words, he wont grow wings. The idea is that he can gain enhanced strength, speed, agility, climbing, sight, smell, hearing, night vision, underwater breathing, etc. not physical attributes like fur, claws, tails, and wings. I should have wrote that part better. Thanks for your attention to detail though
The Galaxy 5’s next member-
Name: Master Zhuanxing (transformation in simplified chinese)
Powers: Can transform into any animal, and has a chance to inherit some of the animals abilities into his own human body (except flight). Master of the staff and martial arts.
Story: Cho Lin was a simple boy living in a small village in china. His family had always farmed rice and lived in poverty. One day, when Cho was about 9, a band of marauders invaded his village, destroying his families rice farm, and killing cho’s entire family. That was when he discovered his powers. Cho saw the murderous men approaching his house, blades in hand. He looked up at the sky, expecting these were his last moments alive, and saw a hawk flying by. He wished that he was a bird and could escape from the marauders. Suddenly, Cho transformed into a hawk! He escaped the massacre, and traveled to a ninja temple, where the master helped cho hone his skills of transformation, and also trained him as a ninja. He changed his name to Zhuanxing, meaning transformation. But he knew his destiny lie away from the temple, so he ventured out in search of somewhere where justice is valued, desired, and enforced; somewhere where he could enforce it. And so he discovered and joined the galaxy 5.
Well here we are, the first character of my superhero group, The Galaxy 5.
Name: Doctor Nex
Powers: supergenious, extremely skilled in invention and engineering, he is very weak physically so he had to create armor to protect himself, he also created a powerglove so that he has some offensive capabilities, it can manipulate matter within close range, emit high levels of heat, and shoot concentrated balls of energy.
Story: Doctor Nex was a supergenious working for his planets department of defense, creating new advanced weapons and defence technologies. He learned that some of the officials had dark plans for his inventions, so he attempted to foil their plot, but got caught while he was disarming the last of his creations. He was framed as a traitor and banned from his planet. Nex fled to earth, avoiding detection by using his invisibility suit, and searched for years to find a group who shared his purpose, bringing justice to the galaxy.
