Ah! I finally found the actual song that really inspired me to do Simon. Adventures of Robin Hood, the episode Season 1 Episode 7 (or 8 depending on the scource) The Challenge.
INTRODUCTORY MINSTREL SONG: “Giles Black and Robin Hood, archers of undoubted skill; loose their shafts on target range, but one is champion still!”
SUMMARY: The Sheriff wagers with Sir Richard of the Lea that his archer, Giles Black, can defeat Robin Hood in an archery contest.
Richard sent Simon the Minstrel to tempt Robin Hood and Little John out of Sherwood Forest to the Archery Tournament against the Sheriff’s champion’s(Being black and white show, I came up with the colors)

A Scottish version of the Satyr. It has the body of a human from above and of a goat below. They have small horns on their heads and they live in the forest people. They have a strong sexual behaviour and like to get drunk often.In Scottish folklore the Urisk was described as having the upper half of a man and the lower half of a goat. The Urisk was said to haunt pools of water and waterfalls near the Scottish Highlands. Often chronicled as being very lonely, the Urisk would seek out human companionship; however the unusual nature of his physical appearance often frightened away anyone he would try to interact with.

Ehlspar was the Elven continant shaped like a Quarter Moon(This is one of my earliest AD&D characters, back before there was a 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5ths edition or 20D or anything else. Back when Bards were several levels of Fighters, then Theives, then Bard and got Druid spells. Weird thing is, I played her back in the 80s,36 years ago, when I was in high school, I am an old man of 54 now, to Metal those 36 years are hardly a blink of her eyes)

150 yr old Drow Captain of the Stardancer,
a Mindflayer is a1st mate,
the 100 crewmen is composed of
some 30 odd Goblins,
a few kobalds in kitchen and repairs,
some Orcs, 1/2Orcs, 1/2 Ogres
and some Hobgoblin Marines
It turns out with the help of Ioun Stones and a Red Dragon furnace, the Ship not only sails, not only flies, but also travels through Time.my Faun bard, Aulos fell in love with Captain Mandrake and they have had a relationship going for about 4 months now.
