Well it’s not the Halloween contest. We ARE having a Halloween theme contest starting Monday or on the 29th right?
Character Design Contest 97 will start Nov 3, Deadline Nov 8, Judged by 15 if I calculate right, so not Thankssgiving, Not Christmas, Not New Years.
So that leaves Start of Christmas Swap, Your birthday or Anniversary of being on HM, of Jeff’s Bday or Anniverary of Jeff starting HM/
If not any of those. I’m tapped out.

My friend John Neal has a comic book character, an American Indian adventurer named Aym Geronimo, for years I’ve been gathering commissions of Aym, whi I really like and for John as well.

Will send you some reference pics

First will be from the regular artist Todd Peck

one is from James OBarr Aym with Crow

 

then some other of my commissions.

Just want to see your interpretation of her.

She is sort of a female Doc Savage and has a group of specialist, or Buckaroo Bonzai, she is NOT a Lara Croft knock off and somewhere I have a commission of her beating the snot out of Lara LOL

Man I love your sight, the characters, poses, costumes, poses, shading, group shots, black and white “photos”, write ups, stories, comic covers, captured movement,  occasional background & landscapes, timeline pictures,

I found Zodiac 9- Vajra The Ox VERY sexy, in face, pose and costume.

I loved the Trump cards

Hero Machine Award is AWESOME.
(we could at the end of the year have a heromachine oscars type thing, where people nominate ‘machiners in different categories and then vote on who should win the award (categories like best image, coolest thread, CDC fave, best newcomer; for example, I’m sure I could come up with more), and the winners win a “Herbie”.)

Wow! Some truly amazing work.

My favorite is the Order of Flame: Aldurn “Sunfire” Nortengarn, Incinerate and particularly Jester “Phoenix” Arno.

My wife goes by Phoenix too so it have a soft spot in my heart.

I’ve really been into Greek stuff lately working on my necromancer Nekrotikus and watching the old Clash Of The Titans, so Gopla really struck me as well. SO much better than my recent Greek soldier I did.

Too bad about your computer and that you missed the Japanese contest.

I chalk it up to Mercury In Retrograde, when communication, electronics and legal issue tend to happen more frequently.

DUDE! The limestone Katanga Slab, and the story is seriously kewl!
At first just looking, I thought, MAN with my eyesight that is that faded out I can barely see it, then I read the awesome story with it, and looked again much harder and it’s just so great.

Being a long time Machinist, but fairly new to the forums, I have looked through your past entries, and your art just amazes me. whether it’s your characters, steam punk stuff, biological augmentations, snow encrusted clothes, group shots, tigers, guns, canons, engines, vehicles, coat of arms, buildings or memoriam to a friend as well as the inspiration and stories that goes with it. You are truly talented.

PS, I am going to steal the hood as lower robe to redo my portrait of haiku master Matuso Basho, just telling ya now. 😀
