So many times I browse though the forums and mean to comment, but dialysis, or being tired, or errands or just dead head keeps more from it. I’ve been more with it the last couple, probably a desperate attempt to keep from packing, but here I am with my stored up comments from January.

Belle Hickok, a.k.a. Wild Belle.
Every thing about her says she might be a little “off” heh, Straggly paltinum blonde bangs on otherwise black hair, the mask, her expression, the cock of the head, the chest scar, the exposed undies as a gunslinger’s clothes. the Hikock badge as belt buckle, garter belt holding up jeans leggings. Very well done.

HeadCase
everything is great about her. Pose, colors, hair, face,
expression, body, metal work, highlights and shadows, and
background. I particularly like the rubbery bendable bits for her waist.

Pax Terra: logo
kicks major butt.

Gadgeteer
Headcase would just be a dead head without him. Even
more than than the guantlet, gunbelt, and boots which are awsome, the work on the tunic blows me away. Great face, hair and goggles,color scheme, background too.

HeadCase Mermaid
You have accomplished what I have tred and usually failed with the water surface and diagnal light streaks through the water. and horizontal tides of depth.
The black and green looks grood on HeadCase, wicked tail.

Captain Dallas
Heh he looks a bit like my Lone Star I did back in the 80s for my Texas Rangers group. May be a bit better than mine though. Got to love the knife as toothpick. heh

Dr. Brain
First: really kewl pose. Great uniform too. She even looks kinda shy like she wouldn’t talk much.

Protector Awesome
Has a Invisable Girl vibe circa Malice’s takeover. And that isn’t a dig, it’s a compliment.
It’s all great! from the side face which you managed to make look different that the base face and great hair you put together, the clean simple insignia, the simple yet kewl uniform, the sparkly bits of the unifrom, that really wonderful pose. the highlights and shading nad power effects and background all comes together in a great pic.

Wild Dance Pose
That is some creativity! What bits did you use for her ribcage and belly?

Slate
This may be my favorite outfit EVER!!!! those sleeves with the cut outs, the flowing skirt around her lower legs. What I would call a mermaid silhouette. I have several hand sketches of similar from the late 70s and mid 80s, but not exact.
When I mentioned similaurs I mean nothing bad by it, just
how I really connect with what you are doing. 100% grooving on it.
That with the slight S pose, the hand on the witches hat, the face, hair and white magic. Sigh. I wish I had created this one.

Wind Dragon
kewl use of the pose.
the green and gold go well together, even though not might one would expect from a wind character, but good for the name sake.
Gotta love opera gloves, tails, panties and hip boot skates all together on one character. Interesting, non traditional use of wind effects too. Good thinking out of the box.

Gravimatrix:
what’s not to like about a dominatrix outfit LOL Very well put together, including the stitch work. Nice effect of the whip winding around her too. And you can tell she is hovering too.

Cosmic Knight
Wow super kewl! Very anime vibe. the hair, face, pose, costume, sword, guantlets and dark sheild all just kick major butt. Doesn’t hurt I have a soft spot for blue skin too.
the blue, gold and black/grey work well together. Of course the shading is amazing.

Anna-Stellar
Im curious are you a Legion of Super Hero reader/fan?
Love everything, the action pose, the costume, the moving hair, face, shading, all the usual plus the monster/ The Amulet is very kewl too.

was beautiful. Great shading, loved the shadow of the circling flame on the egg.

those eyes faded at the bottom and higlighted lips are amazing, The nose and face are off course good too, but the eyes and lips are just …. MORE! Kewl black square drop outs too.

one again Pose, costume, colors, hair, face and power effects just all amazing. Loving the 70s look.

Great use of pink pallet, and with the gray, looks kewl. Again you knocked it out of the park: hair, face, pose, costume, weapons (loving the pink gun), shading, background, (loving the double squares). It’s all great. Didn’t miss a single swing.

How many times can I say it rock! Cause of hair, face, pose, costume, colors? heh heh. As many as does I suppose.
I love the sublte red, white and blue of Justice Girl, it doesn’t come across like white stars on blue and red and white stripes. It actually took me a couple of moments before i caught it. And Fury in devil girl red works well too.

Mighty-Redesign
OK all of the above stuff on about every post applies here as well.
Picking specifics: the extreme “Girlyness” of her, the flimsy see through skirt and panties, the sandle leg straps up the boots. the motion of hair/ribbons, cape and skirt.

Specifics: The hair is brilliant, I mean beard for the sides, Who’d a thunk?? Some massive mammories she has there. love the frillie cuffs and on the boots. Gray butterfly wing background!

Going back to January, since I’ve wanted to comment, but something usually stops me.

The Veteran Captain
What a face, such a dour expression. Yeah he loooks loike
he’s been through it and still capable of handling anything thrown his way. Great use of highlights and shadows.

Brown-and-Salmon-Portrait
Not only a great portrain, but a kewl video to go with it.
I see you use a smaller setting and peice together they eye showow just like doing makeup. I tend to be heavy handed and do ONE circle. Need to try your way even though it will take a little longer. Acutally you do the microwork on other places on the face as well where as I’ve been using bigger circles. Need to try your way.
Do you often have the problem of 1×1 pixel is still too big like highlight on the lips? or that one space click it too high or too low and you can’t place it exactly where you want it in the detailed work?

Summoner
Heh i’m sure she summons all sorts of guys (or girls) just by standing there and looking as she does heh.
Great face as usual, but then that is your strength. Also a kewl outfit, and kewl glow from the eyes of the materializing skeletons. Heh a possible mate for Nekrotikus the necormancer.

Elf Woman Knight
Great face and hair once again. Also a kewl armour with all the metal feathers look. Very kewl metal work hightlights/shadows.

Morphologist
OK do we start with the word Morphologist. So much classier than Shapechanger. heh
What a kewl pic, the colors, costume and detail, love how you blacked out the palm and just had the fingers visable.

Healing Words
HAVE to love that collar, don’t think I would have ever thought to put it up like that. Great helm, face, armor,
costume and glow effect. Gold, blue and white work very well here. Very serene yet powerful picture. You can hear a chorus of heavenly voicese singing “Ahhhhhhhhh” as the magic happens.

Feray
Awesome face and costume as usual. The sharpness of the metal and spikes comtrasting with the softness of the skirt and skin. Love the copper colors.
The sythe is almost a yin/yang symbol which is very kewl.
Not to mention her refelction in the two blades.

Alien Battle Suit:
Wow! The tech details on the suit is amazing. Boggles my mind. and kewl pose too. Colors work great. Fantastic metal work. Nice glowing bits.

Great out-of-the-darkness shot. Kewl pose. Great costume.

Amazing! Wonderful work.The red and the gold sparks, the dark spots showing depth and hinting at sky behind, the glow on the rocks.

Gerat pose, kewl look, somewhat rakish due to the beard,
yet stern and feirce, and the blow glow from the sword
highlighting everything is just wicked awesome!

Tarek
Great desert gear and colors Love the look. One again great contrasting of the soft flowing clothing with the hardness of the leather and metal. The shading of course just adds all sort of realism to it. You deciuded your light sourse and highlighted and shaded wonderfully. Feirce!

Death Knight
Scary looking as a Death Knight should be. great use of the electric blue in the rune cirlce, the electricity effect and hightlights.. Some is lost to my eyesight, but what I do pick up is awesome.

Mountaintops.
Gorgeous. How did you do the double day moons?
Love them even more than than great clouded moughtains.

Hooded Man
Kewl portrait. Hard to belive it’s your first guy. I would make sure my wallet was safe and give him a wide berth LOL 😀
Although he is cute under that hood and glases LOL/

Merman
Wow! Talk about one scary butt ugly cuss. In a good way. LOL So many great elements that make him up, the use of the spider eyes up those horns, the blank eyes, that hhuge teethy mouth, clawed hands, shoulder spines, chest scars, the faded body/tail showing depth. But one thing that really caught my eye was the stress marks on the bar. That sucker is about to get free any moment.

Merman Version 2
Awwww. You lost some of the immediatacy in this one I feel.
the bars seem too thin, too wide. Seems like he could just come on through, the bars don’t do much.In the first pic it had a crampt look like he was effectively caged in, other than he could crush the bars, which had its own flavor of additional danger. IMOHO.

You do such amazing work.
I can’t wait to see what you do next.

Great face again. And what is not to love about the feathered cloak? Did you mean to have the bit about the neck to make a heart/angel shape?

Handsome in a Yul Brenner sort of way. And a great costume design and color scheme. Love the kinda corsety open chest look and the great collar on the trenchcoat.

A bit dark for me to see much, but I like what I do see.
But the face and cigarette is great.
I recently did a Darkness character that is utter crap compaired to this. 😛

The Faceless
There isn’t much to it, but it’s SO effective. Doesn’t need anything else. The smile scars/rips and claws speak volumes.

Silence
Ah one with visable eyes, The Cape and collar is wonderfully wicked, and the pose is kewl. Will say the legs look a tag thick. Great other than that though.

I actually like her with the scarf too. I love how you also give her a more realistic silhoutte than the super hero hour glass in body. She still has a thinner waist but not AS much and yet clearly not fat, just “normal”. Well done.

I also commented on CDC on this one. At first I didn’t get what everyone was on about. Then I mazimized it and looked with my magnifying glass and saw all the things I missed that others didn’t. The hex pattern, the dragon face details. It definately deserved then win. Great job.

You may have seen before my high school mascot was the Yellowjackets. So I can’t help but love this guy. And he is SO well done, and not a standard pose. And a great costume. You excelled.

I did a bullywug WAY back in the day. But Frog King RULZ!
I also have the haiku penname kawazu which means “frog”
So needless to say I love all four of the frog pics.
They are very well done. Great use and camoflauge of the hippo head. I’m still trying to figure it out.

Fireworks?
Ya know ya really need to name/label your peices more clearly. Wasn’t sure of Fireworks is the character name or not. 😀
But she is alsorts ot amazing. If it doesn’t win, she’s damn sure in the poll at very least. (I try not to say anyone is gonna win, seems to be a curse. Ask BOB)
The hair is just amazing. As is the costume, and the textures. You can almost feel what is skin, metal and what is fabric.

Love her face, the blue lips, great use of hair. I also love the wet suit type elements of her costume and those are some kick a$$ boots. very kewl water effects too particularly behind her.

In our new game once I get moved I’m playing Wonder Man Simon Williams,
He has a bit of that ionic heroes vibe particularly with the red elements on the costume and energy effects.

Daisy
looks sweet and deadly heh
almost more like a rose. pretty but with thorns, although the name Daisy is perfect for her.
The eyes peeking from under the hat, the rifle contrasted with her corset, the great duster, and her gunbelts and thigh straps make it clear Daisy is no school marm. Also love the walking pose like she’s going out to the main street at high noon to settle something.

Disturbed
isn’t a can of kick a$$, she’s several cases!
For one thing I’m a sucker for a blue woman. I have several of my own.
Where does one start? Just the hair and face yet again say everything about her tude, and looks like she has a major one.
Great color scheme of black, blue and gold with the pop of red. The shoulder pads, costume, guantlets and those boots str all sorts of feirce!
Great energy effect, going off screen even adds more on top of that. The details of the veins on her body,
and let us not forget the slight glow behind her and about the kewl effect on the broken up background. It just all adds up to another AMS work of art.
I tell ya a combo of her and Sea Queen would look like a better design of my character Marina Rivera aka Nautica. As it stands right now she is just blue with a darker blue one peice bathing suit. boring, but combo of those two woman would make her really rule the sea. 🙂

The Judge
For one thing, I’m envious. I just can’t use those tech costume elements right. I’m more of a nature/satyr guy. Also metal isn’t my strong suit, although I’ve been working on it. So yeah, pretty envious.
It’s a tight design and of course brilliantly executed,
which I imagine is what he does LOL 😀
The grey, black and blue probably a bit reminescant of the color he lives his victums too. LOL 😀

Upon further background creation, we decided he had a bad heart as a child, and his Mom went to the K’un L’un mountains in Tibet where she was from, and she took some of the molten dragon heart and cam back and injected into her son’s heart. which brought him back from the brink of death.
He got stronger and exercised and got even stronger.
His dad discovered he was gay and was at first angry then accepted him but made sure he learned self defense to take care of himself.

One day Ken was protecting a kid from a gang of bullies, which turned on Ken, he was able to fight them off with with some difficulty.

On a roof top Dare Devil had seen the last of it and could sense the kid was focusing Chi as he had only seen in one other.
Dare Devil and Iron Fist taught Ken

After many months, at the warehouse Ken trained in with his teachers Dare Devil and Iron Fist were called away to fight the Sinister Six, still in his training clothes, Ken saved a kid just as Shocker took out a building to crush Spider-Man who evaded the collapse. Ken focused all his Chi, his heart glowing, the Chi/adrenalin surge protected him as he protected the kid. Ken flung some debris at Shocker, distracting him and letting Spidey get the final blow in. Spidey thanked Ken and swing off as Ken collapsed from exhaustion, his body having pushed itself to it’s current limit.

So this is his fighting clothes he first Heroed in, going for the martial arts look .

The Adrenalin therapy and molten dragon heart lets Ken summon great Strength, Endurance and Dexterity and his chest glows.

So I decided his father was an American marine and his mother was an Asian, so he was half Asian.
I named him Ken Michaels.
And he’s a college student

I thought that while kinda cool, a hooded & cloaked hero wasn’t really representative of a hero with pride.
but did like the glowing triangle though.

OH! The straps are a reversible backpack he keeps his civilian clothes in.
