Mongrel, a man found roaming the jungles of South America by Stagger and currently serves as her enforcer. He is fiercely loyal to her and so joined the first incarnation of the Fearsome Five alongside her.

Stagger, professional con woman that has the ability to control or manipulate another persons emotions and actions via pheremones she releases from her pores. She is the creator and member of the Fearsome Five.
Steve Bedford is the latest student enrolled at the Academy. As Equinox he was a small time crook, using his ice and fire powers to mug people or rob shops in order to provide for himself and his ill father. He was confronted by Academy members Ghost and Tricoloure and offered the chance to come and live at the Academy and put his powers to use. He accepted and his father moved to San Francisco with him to receive medical attention paid by Beacon.

Dr Pi was once China’s greatest scientist. But his shady arms-deals with mobsters came to public attention and his reputation dropped greatly. He left the country and found refuge on the small, mountainous Akre Isle. From there he conducts experiments and breeds his mutate henchmen. When in conflict with enemies he often uses mechanical constructs similar to those used by Eggman in the Sonic series.

Introducing Basilisk. Melissa Gardener was a scientist that excelled in the biology of snakes and other reptiles. Before she began to run out of funds to fuel her projects she was working on a serum that could grant a person the natural abilities of the snake. After being unable to repay loan sharks her lab was trashed and the chemicals of her serum as well as others that she had based of the DNA of a komodo dragon were dumped on her. Over the next week she began to mutate. She grew scales, fangs and claws. She also became stronger, faster, more durable, more agile, her senses heightened, she could grow her arms and crush her foes and secreted poison from her fangs. The loan sharks that had caused her mutation were killed soon after. She currently acts as a villian, trying to mutate the populace to match her own. She is a member of the Fearsome Five.
During the Cold War Russia sought to create a super powered hero to rival those of America. The man now known as Furnace could compose himself completely of flame. Due to the rushed process of his creation, he became trapped in the form and slowly began to go out. In order to stay alive he was placed in the suit he wears today, giving him super-strength and durability, gives him a computer-like mind as well as allowing him to release large concussive blasts of heat energy. He is now a threat to both America and Russia, who he blames for his state, as well as anyone who tries to get in the way of his plans.
Madame Sasco is a mysterious voodoo priestess with immense magical and psychic powers. She often serves as a strategist for the team, standing behind the lines and serving as a field-commander.
The Spartan, an immortal warrior cursed by a witch to walk the Earth for eternity. He originally used his immortality and his warrior skills to become a villain. But he later reformed and became a founding member of the Guard.

Adam McKenzie was born with the superhuman powers of air manipulation. When he reached age 15 his powers manifested creating a vacuum, almost killing both of his parents. He was then taken in by Beacon, rehabilitating him and learning him to control his powers. Now, with his powers he can fly and create vacuums. He currently serves as a member of the Guard.

Introducing the Negative Man, aka notwonderman.
Arron Russell, who has the power to channel the Negative-Force used his powers to fight crime as the Negative Man. He could release blasts of negative force, bullet-proof and was extremely strong. He began to lose control of his powers, causing him to be trapped in a form of pure negative energy, only being able to revert to human form for an hour at a time, if even. This new form allows him to change his mass and size. He is now a member of the Guard.
Deana Advani, aka Rag is a founding member of the Guard and superhero situated in New York. After coming into possession of a family heirloom, a long red drape she discovered that she could control it mentally making it move and grow. With the drape she can glide, wrap it around her arms and legs allowing her to jump higher and become stronger and trap enemies in long tendril like rags.
Harlequin, using her powers of teleportation and her incredible gymnastic abilities fights the criminal underworld in New York city. Her exploits often find her working alongside Longshot, or an occasional sparring partner due to her brutal tactics.
Following his banishment to the tundra, Eltrach the Cold was beginning to freeze to death. Using the last ounce of energy he had he summoned Anihk the Bargainer. Anikh returned his powers, and more in return for his soul when he eventually passed on. With his new powers of sorcery, Eltrach has been a thorn in the side of any avatar Onarath creates.
