Thanks! He’s one of my six main characters in my novel I’m currently editing. The premise revolves around bionic limb-replacement technology that has been made illegal and the resistance that pushes back against heavy enforcement by the Lancers. He suffered a nasty fall that left him as a double-amputee and paraplegic, both of which were solved with bionics. Unfortunately, bionics aren’t perfect, so the bionic spine leaves him sort of numb below the chest even though he can still walk. He and Synnove eventually get together because they’ve both been pretty extensively repaired. They’re also secretly a couple of rednecks, so there’s that.

I ‘ve been trying to do a remake of my Guardian Angel for a while, and finally settled on a gritty tech reboot. I tried to keep the same celestial spirit (heh) of the original, since there wasn’t much to work with, but the wings have that same stained-glass feel and I thought that was pretty cool.

2. For every piece I actually finish, there are ten that never see the light of day, so that’s why. Understandably, only the ones I really like get shaded. I also refer to this comic.

Jeez, those colors are nice to look at. I love how the cloth breaks up the symmetry. The makeup is pretty great too. I actually just really like the whole thing. 😀
