As a child, Kenny Price was fascinated by pirates of the old days, and spent his free hours in the forest near his home by himself pretending to be one. But one day, a group of high school kids saw him, caught him, and laughing hysterically, cut a skull and crossbones into the skin on his chest. Kenny didn’t play in the forest for a long time after that.Instead, he grew up suppressing his childlike imagination. But every time he looked in the mirror he was reminded of that terrible day, and every day he went more and more insane.
When Kenny was laid off from his job as a shrimp fisherman, he finally snapped and all of his desire to be a pirate returned. He fashioned himself a costume befitting Blackbeard, bought a talking parrot, and has now become a terrible serial killer. He kidnaps young women, takes them to an abandoned cargo ship, and then rapes and kills them. He carries a long curved saber and a small anchor as weapons. He is one of the Raven’s recurring enemies.

His power is to become the consistency of a cloud, intangible to his foes, but able to float, move through any opening, no matter the size, and cover a person in darkness. Cumulus’s real name is Derrick Abernethy, a college student at Ford University. Derrick was walking across the campus one day, unshielded from the heavy thunderstorm above. He was also surrounded by a low, eerie fog, making it almost impossible to see where he was going. He wandered around for a good fifteen minutes before he finally reached the steps of his class building. But just before he made it inside, Derrick was struck by a bolt of lightning. But instead of electrocuting him, the lightning softened the molecules of his body, and allowed some of the fog to waft inside him. Brett was once just a Catholic assistant priest when he was noticed by the Pope because he had won the Church league wrestling match 7 years in a row. Brett was the Christgard member responsible for bringing new members to meet the Pope, with whom he developed a close professional relationship.When deep corruption within the Vatican led to the sudden disbanding of Christgard, Brett was left alone and completely disillusioned. Though he continues fighting demons on a freelance basis with the codename Crossfire, he has lost his friendly, compassionate demeanor and become an angry, jaded man. He only hunts for clients willing to pay, and otherwise seems to care little about the rampant evil festering in America.
