He is now 33 and well-liked by most of the citizens of the town. He’s got his eye on Jane Wilson, the local school teacher, though she is unaware of this. He was orphaned by a group of Mohawk Indians when his parents and older brother were slain while they were traveling west towards the uncharted lands of America. He was saved by then-Sheriff George Sampson and more-or-less raised by the whole town. He is friendly and kind, always avoiding fights if he can help it.He discovered like the other constituents of Wylde Town that he had a strange power. Finn’s power was to grow his bones through his skin to create weaponry and armor, as well as a regenerative power to compensate.

These blasts have been known to roll cars onto their sides, throw adults several hundred feet into the air, and even blow out all of the windows of the first floor of several office buildings. David has a strange, somewhat undesirable personality, though, that keeps him fighting solo against the forces of evil. He is intensely paranoid that the government is after him, desiring to perform cruel, painful experiments on him and controlling his mind via computer chip. He has an entire notebook full of his own conspiracy theories ranging from the assassination of Abraham Lincoln to the reason why Chinese food is so damn addictive. Needless to say he’s hard to work with, but he makes an effective, formidable hero.Pictures:

Gus was a member of the Caligo Fire Department. On one fateful call, his team was called in to help extinguish a burning apartment building. Assuming the building had been evacuated, the fire department was ready to let the super-hot building burn itself out. But Gus suddenly heard the cries of a young girl yelling from a window and, acting on instinct, he rushed into the building to find her. He was able to save the girl, but at the cost of his own well-being. Gus’s skin from the neck down was charred and he would certainly have died, but his courage was rewarded by the combined efforts of Caligo’s mayor Ralph Logan and the technological research and development company Brainstorm Industries. An experimental iron skin was surgically grafted on to Gus’s body, not only saving his life but also making him thereafter impervious to pain and most damage. At Mayor Logan’s suggestion, Gus tried out for the position of Caligo’s champion, in the wake of the death of Mr. Ultimate, but Gus’s new body had left him with a less than savory attitude, and he was not chosen. Instead he fought crime as Ferro for a while before finally admitting that he would be better off as part of a team, and he was recruited into the ranks of N-Force.Pictures:

But Shane had bigger plans for himself. When his father became the leader of the Celestials and changed his name to Aquarius, Shane seemed to be tossed aside for his father’s own plans of grandeur. So Shane, then a young man, changed his name to Fathom and became a supervillain, vowing to never become an egotistical, vain hero like his father. In his misadventures he met and fell in love with a woman who after a year of their marriage died giving birth to his twin daughters.
Aquarius had learned of his son’s misdeeds and of the babies and quickly managed to sneak one of them away from Shane. This baby grew up to be the superheroine River.
The other twin Shane raised himself, and taught her that the world was cruel and that the only way to survive it was to be just as cruel. This twin was named Brook. Neither knows the other exists.
Shane, as Fathom, eventually joined the ranks of the villainous team known as the Gauntlet, and let his daughter be free to wreak havoc on the world. Because Shane’s wife was also a non-super, the twins each only acquired his ability to control water, but neither can create it from thin air.
