BakkeParticipantHa, thanks man! Means a lot coming from you
BakkeParticipantCool! I like the legs and the arms, the aura really gave him a comic book feel as well
BakkeParticipant
BakkeParticipantThis is one of my earlier creations. Some fancy lightwork and more detail might have worked out well in this one, but i think ill rather just leave it like this.
BakkeParticipant
BakkeParticipantSo this is just a quick attemt at creating a more three dimensional pose. Im not quite sure I got the perspective right, but Im posting it anyways. Hopefully ill get some useful hints, or maybe somone else gets inspired to make something better.
BakkeParticipant
BakkeParticipantHey man, just checked out your work. You are really good at this. I really liked the pose of the king on the throne, and lancelot as well. Looking forward to see more stuff from you!

Great work! Really love the perspective in Dawn of Imperael!
Glad you joined the forum, you’ve got some real talent. Also, SkellefteÃ¥? Nice place. My stepmother is from there.
Thanks! I tried a more extreme pose at first, inspired by Alice the skatergirl by Harlequin (a great creation in my mind). But I discovered it was a lot more difficult to accomplish than i first thought. So I rearranged it this way.
So, a fellow Swede? Glad to see some countrymen as well here on HM Also took a look at your work. Really liked the one with the fallen angel.
BakkeParticipantSo this is my interpretation of the winged Paladin Imperael, worshipper of the sun and hunter of the Cultists of the Moon. I made him for a friend in our RPG campaign. Actually the speartip is supposed to be in wood as well, but i gave myself the freedom to make this version in steel. Maybe later on I’ll make the entire group. We’ll see.
BakkeParticipant
BakkeParticipant@Suleman: I tried out the armpit straps, kinda liked it. Not sure ill use it, need to think about it for a while. Anyways, thanks for the imput. I really like the helpful atmosphere here at the forum

Neat! Excellent work on the shading, the background and everything in general. The only thing that bothers me a bit is that I don’t understand how those pauldrons stay up, but that’s a minor thing.
He’s actually using duck tape for the pauldrons! No you are right, the historical pauldrons where usually tied on to the armor on the upper body or a padded jacket. Since I personally dont really like the whole crossed leather bands on the torso thing, i decided to just let them float there. Maybe later ill connect them with a piece of armor on the neck as well.
I do agree with you however, any ideas?

Nice.
Is that all done on HM? If it is, then that is amazing work!Thank you!
Yes it is. I had to use a lot of layers and many of those blurry cirkles from the background section. Im happy about the picture myself as well
BakkeParticipantThank you Hammerknight!
So i finally figured out how to post images (sorry about the double attachments). This is a character Im currently playing in Mutants and masterminds, he is a pirate Orc. Ive been playing around with light, shadows and the background. Maybe later I will also start making more advanced poses as well. -
