The Ant Queen is the leader of a colony of giant humanoid ants, both drones and warriors. The Queen herself is the only one who appears to have any form of independent thought and the others follow her will without question. (Barring any unforeseen intervention from the renegade Ant King) The Queen strives to use her drones for good but is continually demonized by the government who see her and her army as a serious threat.
OK I’ll admit it, I went a little off track with this one. She wasn’t really supposed to have wings but I started playing around with things and liked it. So now she can fly….Some ants can fly, right?
Anyway, this has quickly become one of my favourite creations but I’m not really sure why. You can all judge for yourself..
To say that Firefly is neurotic would be an understatement. This guy is a total nut-job (which is probably why I like him so much). He began his career as a villain but has since reformed and become quite an unlikely hero. He has partnered on several occasions with Dragonfly as well as Vespa and Static Buzz (who will both be seen here as soon as I can get them looking semi decent)
Interesting/disgusting side note: Firefly emits a dazzling light from every orifice on his body….Yeah, think about that for a while.

Nightingale is incredibly strong. We’re talking Thor levels of strength here (I was going to say Superman but…not quite) but she doesn’t use her strength to pound bad guys faces into the ground. No, Nightingale is the medic to the superhuman community who want to keep their secret identities…well…secret…She even makes house/rooftop calls. The strength comes in handy if any of the bad guys (who she also treats…for a price) try to mess with her.
[EDIT] Now that I’m looking at a larger image of this character, I gotta say, the shading kinda sucks. I’ll probably go back and edit at some point. Must try harder.
Salamander has essentially become Dragonfly’s sidekick. Although she would never use that word. She much prefers the term “hero in training”. She’s a young and upbeat teenage hero with incredible regenerative capabilities. Her powers have left her with a somewhat overconfident attitude and she tends to rush into situations, believing that nothing can hurt her. Her apparently endless optimism has been tempered recently due to the death of her young friend, Gecko.
Some of you may remember this guy from my power user profile where I highlighted him as my favourite character. He’s currently being used as my character in the previously mentioned rp. This is really just an updated version of him with some of the new gear that’s been added to HM3 since I’ve been gone. Which, by the way Jeff, is pretty brilliant.
Dragonfly is sort of like Peter Parker with Ant Man/The Wasp’s powers. He’s continually saving the day but is always overlooked…probably because he’s like 2 millimeters tall most of the time….plus there was that whole business about giant insect people invading the city, so the wings aren’t really helping his image…….And don’t even get me started on the sex tape….
