AnarchangelParticipantVery cool character. I don’t know why but I really have a thing for gold on characters these days.
AnarchangelParticipantThanks. I do like that logo. I think I’m going to have to go back and change the colours. The shading looks weird now.
AnarchangelParticipantWeird. Mercury’s costume is supposed to be blue but it looks green while looking at the image from my phone. What colour are you guys seeing?
AnarchangelParticipantMercury. Half brother of Apollo and member of the Pantheon. Unlike his brother, Mercury has fully bought into the idea that he and the rest of the Pantheon are gods. The speedster has a growing number of fans and worshipers, many of whom are adrenaline junkies who pull off increasingly dangerous stunts in his name.
Mercury is one the most visible of the gods and easily the most vocal. He has been more responsible, perhaps even than Jupiter, for spreading the idea that the Pantheon are real live gods. At one point, Mercury appeared to be murdered on live TV by the hero turned villain, Corsair (who wanted to make a very public statement) When he later showed up alive and took down his would be murderer, it lent a lot of credence to the idea that the Pantheon were indeed gods. (In actual fact, Mercury was revived just before death by the healer known as Trauma. Although this isn’t widely known)
……Full credit to Ams for the pose. Costume by me. So credit to him, blame to me
AnarchangelParticipantVery cool. I love a good archer character

Apollo’s costume is great. You should probably play around with the transparency of the flames if you want a more convincing effect.
Thanks. Yeah I played around with the transparency of the flames quite a bit but I couldn’t get it looking how I wanted it.
AnarchangelParticipantThat’s a nicely depicted scene.
AnarchangelParticipantApollo is a member of the Pantheon, although unlike many others, he doesn’t buy into Jupiter’s hype that they’re gods. He and his half brother, Mercury, joined the Pantheon half out of curiosity and half out of a desire to keep an eye on Jupiter and the other so called gods. Since joining, Mercury now fully believes in Jupiter and his claims while Apollo remains skeptical.
Over the course of his adventures, Apollo has learned that his body contains within it the power of an entire star. This makes him potentially one of the most powerful beings on earth but also one of the most dangerous and he now lives in constant fear of death because the theory has been put to him that if his body really is like a humanoid star then there’s a possibility that when he dies, the energy inside him could collapse in on itself and create a black hole, capable of destroying the planet.
……….
I like Apollo. He’s a total boy scout. Which is different from my usual characters who tend to always have a dark edge to their personalities. Hell, even the “angel” in my universe was a mental patient for a time.
p.s. Not entirely sold on the flaming fist. I don’t think I got that looking right.
AnarchangelParticipantI love when steampunk happens.
AnarchangelParticipantWeird. I fixed Jupiter’s boots so they match but when I upload it here, it keeps showing one as red on the side.
AnarchangelParticipantThat is friggin brilliant
AnarchangelParticipant@Weilyn said:Also, sidenote: have you considered saving your images as PNG rather than jpg? PNG tends to get less grainy, preserving detailing.
I felt like I was doing that wrong. I used to tell people to save as png way back when I was originally using Heromachine but since I’ve been back I somehow managed to convince myself that jpg was the better one.
Noted. Thanks for setting me straight
AnarchangelParticipantLike Dragonfly, Vespa (Italian for “wasp”) also made an appearance in my old archive. This is a new design for her. And a far better one in my opinion. I don’t think I’m finished tinkering with her though so you’ll probably see her pop up again from time to time.
AnarchangelParticipantI like them. Always good to see LGBT characters. I have a number of them in my universe but I never considered the possibility of making them into a group. Nice work
