amsParticipantDirty pool, dblade! You know I’m a sucker for new items. Any update or forecast for the items you have submitted? It has been a long drought for new toys to play with and it is coming to Christmas time!
amsParticipantAwesome job with using items ” outside of the box”. Love these types of pics and trying to figure out what is what.
Resistance is futi……..whoops…….
Cheers!
amsParticipantKICK-ASS PIC!!
I’m glad to hear you made it out of the storm and got your power back. Hope everything is smooth sailing from now on.
Cheers!
amsParticipantGreat images, JR19759! And I just nudged you in one direction, you come up with the cool concepts! Cheers!
amsParticipantArmory is Awesome and WHOA, Black Betty!
amsParticipantYeah, you guys are right. I used PAINT to create the effect with 2 images for the character. The “drones” are one image, but then flipped over for a mirrored image. The trick was getting the background guys to be faded. I tried reducing the color Alphas down to half , but anything that was overlapped didn’t look right. I then relized I was going the wrong way and just dropped a background shape item on top and reduce the colors to 30%. That gave me the even faded image effect I was looking for.
Thanks for the compliments, fellow machiners.
Cheers!
amsParticipantHere’s the latest. I have a military strike team called “Broken Arrow” that I created for a background for my character Stonebourne and his mentor Warhorse. The latter being on the team that was based during the Vietnam War and were used for “special” missions. Stonebourne’s father, being the leader of the team, history becomes quite unclear after the team imploded during an operation. I should post the team’s members past line-up soon.
So, I’m beginning a new incarnation of “Broken Arrow” starting with ARMY ANT. This character’s powers let him split into 10 “drones” of himself. The unfortunate side effect of this ability is that his intelligence diminshes the more drones he creates.
Cheers!
amsParticipantThanks alot guys. Wish I could get on to create more, but it is a very busy time for me at home and work. I just have time to browse through and see the lastest characters being fleshed out. I have some ideas kickin’ around and hope to show you them soon. Lovin’ all the new talent joining in and good to see some of the alumni returning. Cheers!
amsParticipantThanks, Blue!
Here is a new crime fighter, THE MIME. This mute vigilante takes out the bad guys using slight of hand tricks and has unortodox fighting skills. Think of him as a street performing ninja! …’nuff said.
amsParticipantYes you can. Good example. I also use it to get a reflection/shine effect off of metal items.
amsParticipantNo problem. More to come….
amsParticipantYes, this technique opens alot of new possibilites when using the program. The whole art of “masking items” lets you be more creative. Soon you will start looking a items not as a whole, but as pieces or sections you can make into other crazy items. This tutorial from SDR evolved the way I use Heromachine. Hopefully, it affects you guys like it did me, so the creative process becomes easier and exciting. Cheers!
….and yes, we fear the djuby.
amsParticipantThanks alot , machiners. Glad you like her. Cheers!
