amsParticipantHappy New Year, Whiz Bang Machine!
@ Mad Jack – Hopefully you did not scrap that Hand on Hip item. Looking forward to seeing it go live. This link http://www.posemaniacs.com/tools/handviewer/ was something someone in the past found. It has great hand poses that are excellent references and can be moved and shifted on all angles. Take a look!
p.s. yes the first one is a nude male torso, but check out all the items to the right to switch models.
amsParticipantLike The Web. Switch your colors for the torso and the hood and highlight white. That will bring out some depth. For the gloves and boots, try designing something similar to the spider legs in the background. Spiders have 8 legs, try to make them all uniform. The right boot does not go with the legs you have chosen, unless he is battle scarred or something. Go to a more natural. straight forward stance. Maybe spread the legs out a bit, to simulate the spider legs?
I know what you mean about the glove. It’s a unique item.
Cheers!
amsParticipantYour welcome. Happy new year to you and looking forward to seeing many more of your wonderful creations!
Cheers!
amsParticipantBottom one. One thing for me though is the left bicep. It does not look “natural” to me. Try this….

amsParticipantRicochet looks great! I see you are going for straight white gloves and boots. They o look flat compared to the rest of the figure. I suggest you color a light grey (light blue?) or secondary pattern shade them and then highlight bright white. It will bring out the depth in them. You are a roll with your concepts. Great stuff!
amsParticipantHAPPY NEW YEAR ‘MACHINERS NEW AND OLD!
I think 2014 is going to be an exciting year for the program.CHEERS!

amsParticipantWOW! What a work load with The Forgotten. Fantastic stuff. Costumes designs are clean and crisp.
Great job! Happy New Year and Cheers!
amsParticipantThanks!
To answer your question, Male Body Alternates, 5th page, lower bottom right. I used 2 with masking to get the 3/4 turn effect. Upper chest is from the Male Military Body items.
amsParticipantHere’s an oldie that I did a year and a half ago. Based on one of Jeff’s Sketches that he posted on the blog. Was done before I discovered highlighting and shading, so I actually created backgrounds. For the recent Character contest on the blog.
Cheers!
amsParticipantWOW! Awesome concept. If I didn’t know the parts were Heromachine, I swear you drew it yourself. Cheers!
amsParticipantMerry xmas and happy holidays to all you machine heads out there.
